On October 23, the 3rd Energy Ministerial Conference took place in China, attended by energy ministers, high-level representatives from 27 countries, and over 600 delegates from various sectors. The director of China's National Energy Administration opened the event with a speech highlighting the importance of green energy #innovation and cooperation. Our participation at the conference underscored our commitment to advancing global green energy initiatives. Mr. Stephen Lewis, President and CEO of Voith Hydro APAC, delivered a keynote speech via video at a sub-forum-themed "Green Energy Innovation and Development." He shared insights on Voith Hydro's 30 years of successful presence in China and discussed market opportunities arising from international collaboration. "Promoting the development of green energy requires strengthened cooperation and partnership between all countries in the region. Voith Hydro will continue to focus on global development and work together with China's EPC partners to promote the international growth of hydropower and actively contribute to achieving the goals of 'peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality' as soon as possible" stated Stephen Lewis President & CEO of Voith Hydro APAc.

The breathtaking landscape surrounding the ASIGA hydropower station on Mindanao Island, Philippines, is our #HydroPictureOfTheWeek! With the Bohol Sea on one side and lush forests on the other, this power station not only generates renewable energy but also stands as a beautiful example of how nature and technology come together. 🔋 The station generates a total of 8.4 MW with its two units, ensuring power supply for the region. Additionaly, its integration with digital solutions helps optimize performance and monitor operations in real-time, showcasing how modern technology supports efficiency in remote locations. 💧 We’re excited to announce a new project at Wangfuzhou hydropower plant in China. We’ll be upgrading the turbine governor system for Unit 1, focusing on both digital and hydraulic controls to enhance operational efficiency and safety. This comprehensive project covers everything from design and manufacturing to installation and testing—ensuring the best possible performance for the plant. 👉 With completion expected by early 2025, we’re looking forward to supporting Wangfuzhou on its journey toward a more efficient energy future.
