Last week we asked you to guess which is faster: a commercial aircraft flying at cruising speed or the speed of our high-performance rotors. Well, the race is very close 🏁 Our rotors spin at a circumferential speed of up to 200 m/s, or 720 km/h. The average passenger plane flies at about 800 km/h. The difference is that you don't need to look at the sky to experience the speed of our rotors. Contact Stefan Bergmeir and find out how we can support your project. ⤵ Find out more in the first comment

🌎 Another significant milestone for our global footprint! On Monday we celebrated a significant milestone with our Wieland team and our incredible partners, including state and local leaders and economic development officials, whose support and hard work made this vision a success. The $500 million investment will expand the more than a century-strong facility's capabilities, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver even higher quality and reliability standards. It reflects our commitment to supporting the local community, serving our valued customers, advancing American manufacturing, and ensuring long-term sustainability. Thank you to Governor Pritzker of Illinois and everyone involved — we're excited about the journey ahead! We are fully committed to closed-loop copper recycling and are ready to expand the use of circular economy activities in our processes. However, we are deeply concerned about our industry’s efficient supply of secondary raw materials. Third countries are strongly incentivizing imports of high-quality secondary materials, but there are ongoing questions regarding these countries’ environmental and social standards. Additionally, we are already faced with serious implications related to scrap shortage within the EU. Therefore, we strongly support the latest position paper from the copper fabricating industry to protect our urban mine, which will generate more quantities in the future available for the European industry. Without secondary raw materials, the expansion of circular economy activities is not possible. Happy 20th birthday, YouTube! 🎉 We're celebrating by looking back at one of our most popular videos: a tutorial on installing our cuprotherm® underfloor heating tube, which has been viewed over 360,000 times in 13 years! YouTube has been an incredible platform for sharing information and solutions with customers around the world. Meanwhile, our product portfolio has evolved to include even more sustainable innovations such as cuprolife®, our tube made from 100% recycled copper. Despite all changes, one thing remains constant: our commitment to providing both excellent service and valuable information - as important today as it was back then. 👀 Want to see the video?
