Last Wednesday was a special day at the Geislingen Campus as we celebrated the ceremonial planting of our “Tree of Community” 🌳 As part of this year's summer festival the tree was placed in our courtyard, giving employees the opportunity to attach their wishes and suggestions for the future until the planting ceremony. As the evening continued, the event smoothly transitioned into a relaxed after-work gathering, where colleagues could unwind and connect in a more informal setting. It was the perfect way to end a day of celebration, allowing us to bond even further beyond the workplace. ✨ 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:     – 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: The managing directors and management representatives of the respective legal entities at the Geislingen location jointly planted the tree in the courtyard in front of the Millionenbau. – 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐞: A time capsule was buried, filled with a letter, some of the wishes and more. The remaining wishes will be transformed into a small piece of art by a diaconal institution over the next few weeks. – 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦: At a champagne reception with catering and live music, many interesting conversations took place, fostering new ideas and future plans. Such events are more than just occasions to celebrate – they are precious moments of exchange, encounter and growing together. The freshly planted tree symbolizes the growth and the vibrant community that we experience here every day. On Tuesday evening a big portion of teamwork was on the menu! 🍽️ The new squad of FRISCH AUF! Göppingen was our guest and had the opportunity to get to know each other better outside of handball training while preparing a four-course meal together. During the preparation of the meal, everyone worked hand in hand, laughed a lot, and learned a great deal. With the assistance of our head of staff restaurant Markus Jüngert, a gazpacho, homemade porcini tagliatelle, roast beef from Salach water buffalo with sweet potato-celery purée, and for the grand finale, a vanilla blueberry parfait wrapped in a sponge cake, were created. The result, born of perfect teamwork, was of course enjoyed together in a cozy setting with good conversation. We are proud of our long-standing partnership with FRISCH AUF! We are thrilled to announce that our company restaurant at our Groupe SEB site in Geislingen has secured the second place in the "Responsibility" category at this year's FOCUS Canteen Test! 🏆   Since 2018, Food & Health e.V. has honored the 50 best staff restaurants in Germany in its annual Canteen Test in collaboration with FOCUS magazine. An eight-member jury evaluates the businesses against the excellence criteria of Responsibility, Health and Enjoyment as well as a special category that changes every year, which this year was “Communication”.   Achieving this prestigious award is no small feat. It is the result of daily dedication and hard work. Our team in Geislingen impressed the jury with its comprehensive concept and holistic implementation. This accomplishment reflects the commitment to quality and sustainability, inspiring our guests every day. Our Welcome Days provide an excellent opportunity for new team members to connect, gain a comprehensive understanding of our company’s various departments, brands & products, and immerse themselves in our unique corporate culture at Groupe SEB. To spice things up the agenda was interspersed with interactive activities to foster connections among the new colleagues, such as a Milk Tasting session at our SEB Professional Experience Center, where they sampled various milk alternatives in a blind test, leading to a fun and educational sensory experience. Another highlight was the campus tour, where many insights from our rich company heritage were shared and displayed. To continue the journey, a follow-up meeting is scheduled four to six weeks later, allowing participants to share their experiences, discuss insights, and address any questions. Yesterday, our Geislingen campus came alive with the vibrant energy of our summer festival under the theme "Celebrating Diversity Together." The event was a true celebration of our shared spirit, featuring a rich array of culinary delights from around the world, lively music and spirited team competitions.   The day also included activities that reinforced our sense of community within the Groupe SEB family and highlighted the importance of diversity. Everyone had the opportunity to create their own office plant – a living symbol of our shared journey of growth, reflecting each individual's unique contribution. Additionally, our "Tree of Community" adorned with heartfelt wishes and messages from all employees for a shared future, stood out as a central feature. This tree will be planted prominently on our campus, symbolizing our growing unity and mutual support.   Our achievements are rooted in a strong collective that empowers us to reach common goals and overcome challenges together.
