📢 Join Hitachi and our esteemed guest speakers as we unveil the HF5000 Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), a revolutionary instrument set to transform research in nanotechnology and materials science. The HF5000, a 200kV TEM, combines both TEM and Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope (STEM) technologies, achieving sub-angstrom (0.1 nm or less) spatial resolution. This allows for precise atomic-level imaging and analysis, opening new possibilities for research. Discover how it can elevate your research projects and partnerships in our workshop next week. Secure your spot by registering via bbirkan@ku.edu.tr or k.temel@tetratek.com.tr. #TEM #research #electronmicroscopy

We're thrilled to see our SU9000 being used to push the limits of scientific discovery. Congratulations to Raynald Gauvin and everyone involved in this remarkable work! 👏 #STEM #EELS #electronmicroscopy
I am very proud of our last paper published in Ultramicroscopy, Elemental quantification using electron energy-loss spectroscopy with a low voltage scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM-EELS), by Nicolas Dumaresq, Nicolas Brodusch, Stéphanie Bessette and myself. We are the first to demonstrate that quantitative chemical analysis is possible using EELS at 30, 20 and 10 keV with the fantastic low energy STEM SU-9000 from Hitachi. This is the best electron microscope in the world in my opinion and we have it since 2017. We were the first to have an EELS system made from Hitachi High-Technology.

This year, Hitachi is proud once again to sponsor the Highlights of Physics science show, which is held since 2001 each year in a German University town, this year in Hannover. Building on the success of Hitachi's STEM outreach program, we are excited to offer students, educators, and science enthusiasts the chance to operate our cutting-edge TM4000II scanning microscope. This hands-on experience will allow participants to explore the hidden wonders of the microscopic world, revealing details invisible to the naked eye and far beyond the capabilities of a light microscope. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Klaus Richter President of the German Physical Society (DPG), Dr. Jens Kube and Andreas Forstmaier from the Agency for Business Communication, Dipl.-Phys. Werner Stracke from the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research, Rüdiger Eichel from the Lower Saxony Ministry for Science and Culture, and Prof. Dr. Claus Lämmerzahl, Member of the DPG Board for Public Relations, for their collaboration and support of this year’s event. #highlightsderphysik #electronmicroscopes #DPG #STEM
