FREYR UPDATE! We’re thrilled to announce the completion of FREYR’s acquisition of Trinasolar's manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas. The acquisition marks a pivotal moment for our company and a critical step forward in becoming a U.S.-based leader in the solar and storage markets. With 5 GW of solar module production in Wilmer, FREYR will quickly become a leading domestic manufacturer in this space. From Wilmer, our vision extends even further to solar cell production, with construction expected to start in Q2 2025 and with anticipated first solar cell production in H2 2026. Longer term, we see an opportunity to pair solar and storage as the demand in both areas continues to grow. The deal is expected to exit 2025 at full-year run rate EBITDA of $175 - $225 million and an integrated solar module/solar cell production annual run rate EBITDA of $650 - $700 million. NEWS ALERT: FREYR Announces Transformative Acquisition! We are excited to announce that FREYR is set to acquire a 1.35 million square foot solar module manufacturing facility in Wilmer, TX from Trinasolar.  The facility, which has just started production, will manufacture 5GW of solar modules annually, create 1,500 jobs, and is expected to generate $75 - $125 million EBITDA in 2025 and exit 2025 at full-year run rate EBITDA of $175 - $225 million.      Daniel Barcelo, FREYR’s Chairman of the Board of Directors will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of FREYR and will be joined by several senior leaders from across the solar and energy sector. Subject to closing of the transaction, Mingxing Lin will be appointed Chief Strategy Officer and Dave Gustafson will be appointed Chief Operating Officer; while Peter del Vecchio will join as Interim Chief Legal Officer with immediate effect.
