𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 The Fuel Cell Compass highlights the latest hydrogen production projects across Europe, with key initiatives concentrated in Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. This impressive momentum aligns with Europe’s hydrogen strategy and the broader goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. These technologies not only provide a means to store surplus renewable energy but also ensure a sustainable energy supply. However, challenges such as high costs and the lack of a comprehensive hydrogen infrastructure still need to be addressed. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀-𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱 The European Hydrogen Backbone project is laying the foundation for a transnational pipeline network, linking hydrogen production hubs with demand centers across Europe. Following the technical tours, the hydrogen community came together at the Cannstatter Wasen to relax, enjoy local food and network in a festive atmosphere. The casual atmosphere helped to strengthen the relationships built during the event and allowed us to reflect on the key takeaways from the two insightful days. 🎉 💙 A big thank you to all the participants who made this evening the special event that it was. 🆕 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: 226 million euros for fuel cell truck innovation 🚛 Daimler Truck AG is taking a major step towards CO2-neutral transport with €226 million in funding from the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr) and the federal states of Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate. In combination with Daimler Truck's own investment, this funding will drive forward the development, small-series production and deployment of around 100 fuel cell trucks. 👏 We congratulate Daimler Truck on this milestone!
