This week, a group of journalists from Denmark, Sweden, and Norway together with Atout France in the Nordic and Baltic countries had the incredible opportunity to explore Les 3 Vallées and its 600 km of interconnected skiable runs. With a base camp in the beautiful and charming Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, historic mountain village, known for its subtle blend of tradition and understated luxury, they enjoyed easy access to Les Menuires - St-Martin-de-Belleville, Méribel Tourisme, Courchevel, Val Thorens and a network of 328 alpine runs stretching across 35,000 hectares of stunning natural landscapes. Whether you’re a fan of thrilling skiing, rich alpine heritage, exquisite gastronomy, or simply relaxing in breathtaking surroundings, Les 3 Vallées has something for every lover of adventure and nature! 🧐 Looking Back at 2024: A Year of Impact and Progress at Atout France in the Nordic and Baltic countries As 2024 comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on the accomplishments and milestones we’ve achieved together. It has been a dynamic year, marked not only by the Paris Olympic Games and the reopening of Notre Dame, showcasing the best of France, with successes that highlight the strength of our collaborations and the passion for France in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltics! Here’s some of the things we accomplished this year: ✨ B2B Engagement: Organized 28 dedicated B2B events, bringing together a vibrant network of partners. 🌟 Media Outreach: Organized 10 press group trips, sending more than 60 journalists to France, organized events engaging more than 200 journalists and bloggers from the Nordics together with French Partners fostering authentic storytelling in the media. 🚀 Tourism Partnerships: Sent 31 tour operators to France and engaged more than 300 at local events, strengthening our travel ecosystem. 🎯 Consumer Impact: Launched 20 B2C campaigns, reaching over 58.6 million people and driving deeper connections to French destinations. We’re deeply grateful to our partners, journalists, operators, and the entire community for making this possible. From December 8th to 15th, 2024, during the Octave of Reopening, Notre-Dame de Paris will welcome visitors to experience the restored cathedral and participate in the celebrations. After years of meticulous restoration following the devastating fire of 2019, Notre Dame stands renewed—a bridge between past and future, faith and artistry. Its reopening is not just a moment for Paris but for the world, a place of faith and welcome for over 860 years. The reservation system for public Masses during the inaugural week (December 8–15) will be available starting Tuesday, December 3, in the morning. Reservations for facilitated access to the cathedral (for entry on Monday, December 9, from 3:30 PM onward) will open two days prior, on Saturday, December 7. From October 22 to 24, Atout France in the Nordic and Baltic countries , together with Anna Lundén, visited the Paris Region Tourism Board on a fam trip alongside 13 Nordic tour operators, MICE professionals, and travel agencies. Our journey began with a vibrant workshop featuring over 20 Parisian suppliers, followed by three full days packed with incredible, sustainable activities. Highlights included: 💎 A visit to FONTAINEBLEAU TOURISME 💎 An electric boat cruise with Vedettes de Paris 💎 Gastronomic dinners at the renowned Drouant and Madame Brasserie - Tour Eiffel in the Eiffel Tower 💎 An electric bike tour through Château de Fontainebleau and the charming village of Barbizon We also enjoyed truly unique experiences, such as a wine pairing lunch at Le Le Cordon Bleu Paris Paris within the beautiful Hôtel de la Marine and an unforgettable virtual reality journey with Eternal Notre-Dame, bringing the history of Notre-Dame Cathedral to life. The itinerary wouldn’t have been complete without a shopping tour at Galeries Lafayette and a captivating late-night cabaret show at CRAZY HORSE PARIS.
