📣 Brinckmann's Global Wind Market Forecast 2024-2034 report and database has just been released to our subscribers! Here are a few highlights from our report:💡 The global Wind industry is projected to install an average of 160 GW annually, with China leading the way in both Onshore and Offshore Wind demand. Expansion remains concentrated, with the top 10 markets expected to account for 85% of total added capacity over the next decade. Despite the current macroeconomic challenges and difficulties around profitability, governments are steadily raising their ambitions and targets. Strong political support remains a key driver of growth in the wind sector, driven by commitments to climate action, energy security, and economic development. However, to achieve these ambitious targets, the industry must ramp up investments in supply chains, grid infrastructure, and port facilities. These efforts face headwinds from the prevailing economic conditions. Driven by reforms and ambitious targets, Onshore Wind installations outside of China are expected to grow by 8% in 2024, reversing the decline seen in the past two years. Looking ahead, we project annual installed capacity to more than double between 2024 and 2034, with the EMEA region leading the growth, achieving a 10% CAGR in annual installed capacity over the next decade Despite the Offshore Wind sector having faced notable challenges over the past 18 months, momentum keeps on building as auction volumes surge. We project 428 GW of Offshore Wind capacity to be installed between 2024 and 2034, with most new installations happening post-2030. However, this growth is contingent on several factors, including the advancement of floating technology, increased investments in supply chains (including vessel capacity) and infrastructures, as well as the ability of emerging Offshore markets to take off. 🌟 Welcome to the Brinckmann Team! 🌟 We're excited to introduce Rasmus and Nanna, the newest members of our research team at Brinckmann! Earlier this month, we expanded our team with two junior data analysts who will be working alongside their studies at Aarhus University, bringing fresh perspectives and new energy to our mission towards decarbonization. Rasmus Primdahl, is pursuing a Bachelor's in Economic and Business Administration, he has a passion for technology, especially in the realm of renewable energy. And as Rasmus says, "Renewable energy is the future, and I want to be part of it." Nanna Dahlgren Garbers is currently studying her Master's in Finance and International Business. She shares the same enthusiasm for renewable energy, and we're eager to see how her analytical skills and fresh ideas will contribute to our work. We are thrilled to welcome both Rasmus and Nanna to Brinckmann Group and look forward to the contributions they will make!👏🌟

Earlier this month, our Director Deepak Chinnapa was invited to speak at the 8th Annual Wind Blade Materials Innovation and Sustainability Forum in Istanbul on behalf of Brinckmann. 🌍 Here are our key takeaways from the event: • While there is optimism around the growth prospects of the wind industry across onshore and offshore, stakeholders acknowledge the challenges around various areas such as the financing environment, supply chain bottlenecks, policy and regulatory factors. • There is an increasing push for closer collaboration across the blade manufacturing value chain due to the complexities around manufacturing methods and constant innovation around material developments. • Companies are working hard on finding new and innovative methods to address recyclability within the blades segments with many showcasing positive developments, however, calling for more to be done. Highlighting the challenges around the recyclability of resins. • There is an intense focus on testing methods to ensure the quality of blades improves and that the industry can address manufacturing challenges. • Innovative testing methods are also being developed to identify faults and damages early to minimize the cost of failures. • There is an increasing challenge around the availability of workforce given blade manufacturing methods, as companies explore automating processes and streamlining methods, albeit slowly. At Brinckmann, we are excited to be a part of this industry's growth and look forward to continuing to provide our clients with the best possible service and support in making informed decisions. 🚀 Thank you to Owens Corning and Jens Boelke, for inviting us to present our views at the conference, and to the event organizers, TBM, and everyone who attended. #Brinckmann #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #WindEnergy
