COMING THIS AUTUMN 🍂   We’re excited to announce we’ll be opening a new office at Havneholmen in Copenhagen later this year.   Aarhus will, of course, remain our headquarters, where the majority of our employees will continue to be situated. SAY HI TO OUR NEW HEAD OF EUROPEAN ORIGINATION 👋    Some exciting news from our power trading business!    Our colleague Sofie Duedahl Lauridsen is stepping up as the new Head of European Origination.     Bringing more than a decade of experience from the energy industry, Sofie will be responsible for origination and sales to DC’s growing customer portfolio of large-scale power producers and consumers – a portfolio that is now among the biggest in Europe.    “I look forward to executing DC’s high ambitions within origination and asset management on behalf of power customers. TALKING BUSINESS GROWTH AT ‘THE GREEN ENERGY SUMMIT’     European companies pay significantly more for energy than their competitors in countries like the US, according to a new analysis from the Danish Chamber of Commerce, Dansk Erhverv, which also shows that the EU lags behind in patents and innovation within climate technology.     This was the background for an energy summit organised by the Chamber in Copenhagen last week for policymakers, industry executives and energy experts.      A silver lining to come out of the summit? There was a broad agreement among the participants that future growth lies in ambitious green development and investment in new technology.     🗓️ Also on the agenda:     Our CEO Helle Ø.
