Our Director, Mads Hald Andersen was invited to present a seminar at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Harvard Medical School. His talk focused on immune modulatory vaccines, specifically how anti-regulatory T cells can directly and indirectly target suppressive regulatory cells, and the potential benefits of adding tumor microenvironment antigens to neoepitope-based cancer vaccines. We sincerely thank the NeoVax team at Dana-Farber, with special appreciation to Derin Keskin for the invitation and the campus tour

📢 CCIT PhD Students Attend Summer School on Translational Cancer Research 🌍 Two of our PhD students, Lucía Lara de la Torre Lara de la Torre and Emilie Bülow Jensen, recently participated in the Cancer Core Europe Summer School in Translational Cancer Research in Algarve, Portugal. During this five-day program, they participated in lectures, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities with researchers and fellow PhD students from across Europe. Key topics explored included: 💡 AI in cancer research 🔍 Biomarkers 🧍🏽 Patient-centered approaches 🖥️ Omics data 🧪 Translating research from bench to bedside—and back In addition to expanding their knowledge, they also had the chance to present their research projects through poster sessions, which led to meaningful discussions with fellow researchers and peers. A special thanks to Cancer Core Europe for organizing this insightful program and promoting collaboration within the cancer research community. #CCESumSchool24
