IT'S A WRAP 🙌 After two days at Seatrade Cruise Med in Malaga, we are looking back at a successful reception, new business opportunities across the region and internationally, as well as a strengthened network 🤝💚 "Can I taste the Danish wine?" was one of the most frequently asked questions yesterday at our reception, as guests were thrilled by the delicious taste! A huge thank you to our partner in Kalundborg and their local partners for sponsoring high-quality wine from the Røsnæs region. It was a hit! 🥂 This year's participation also meant trying out new initiatives at the booth to better highlight our main focuses, such as making cruising more responsible and extending the season. It was great to experience our partners' support of each other and to see trade show participants curiously joining the assembly of listeners throughout the sessions. YOUR BALTIC WEATHER GUIDE, DAY 5: Stockholm 🌤️ The final stop on our weather guide is the Swedish capital, Stockholm. Earlier today, Stockholm had the honor of welcoming the inaugural call of the brand-new Mein Schiff 7 at one of the Stadsgården quays.  Port of Stockholm is full of life this Friday with vessels coming and going, and during Mein Schiff 7's visit, she will be connected to the onshore power facility, which has been taken into use for the 2024 season. It has been a bit of a mystic morning in Stockholm, with cloudy skies covering the city like a blanket, but the sun managed to burn through anyway and light up the star of the day, the beautiful ship. With the sun bursting even more through during the day, today's weather is perfect for a bike tour to experience the Old Town and the island full of attractions, Djurgården. For those who want to stay on the water as much as possible, the city's hop-on/hop-of boats are close to Stadsgården and will bring your guests to different sights around the city: The Museum of Photography, the Royal Castle in the Old Town, or the adorable outdoor museum Skansen showcasing the whole of Sweden with houses, animals, and traditions from every part of the country. If the clouds decide to drop a bit of rain, guests can visit the ABBA Museum, Viking Museum, or the must-see Vasa Museum, which houses the old Swedish naval vessel from 1628 that sank on her maiden call in the center of Stockholm ⚓ Guests can also take a boat trip to the nearby island Fjäderholmarna for lunch or a stroll. This morning, Port of Tallinn welcomed Celebrity Silhouette from Celebrity Cruise Line. Guests walked ashore into late summer warmth, with sun rays sporadically peeking through the clouds, casting a golden glow over the medieval UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town, which awaits cruise guests with open arms 🏙️ The weather is perfect for a stroll through the magnificent Kadriorg Palace and its lush gardens. Today's tours also went north of Tallinn to Paasiku, a dog manor where it is possible to hike with huskies, and to Rakvere Castle, a true medieval adventure. The small distances in Estonia allow guests to uncover areas outside the city within approx. 45 min. to 1 hour by car. Copenhagen is showing itself from the best side today with warm sun rays and 23°C, which is the perfect weather condition to uncover the city by foot, bike or seaside in a harbor bus, kayak or on a chanal tour 🌊 The small distances and great guided tours allow many experiences even during a short visit. Copenhagen's harbour stretches from the south harbor (Sydhavnen), where old industry has given way to a whole new part of the city, all the way to the north harbor (Nordhavnen), where another new exciting urban areas is taking form next to Copenhagen Malmö Port's 'Oceankaj' cruise terminals. We get it! The weather changes quite often, but that is part of our region's diverse cruise product.   This week, the goal is to give you an idea of how the weather might or might not change daily. Let's start with Riga!   Earlier today, the Latvian capital and Freeport of Riga welcomed AIDAdiva, AIDA Cruises, to its warm +22°C yet cloudy destination.
