With support from the The National Defence Technology Centre (NFC) and in partnership with PSV Foundry, the program is set to open new market opportunities and accelerate growth for dual-use tech startups.   The program is unique in Denmark, providing startups with the tools and connections needed to succeed in both the civilian and defense markets. Great day for sailing and great day for on water demonstrations. It was a pleasure to welcome at our premises in Svendborg: Steen Balslev, Kommandør, FMI KAMA Martin Stechmann., Kaptajnløjtnant, FMI KAMA Michael Gerhard Landmark, Kommandør, FKO Forsvarets Skibsprogram Peter A. T. Jaszczak, Kommandørkaptajn, FKO Forsvarets Skibsprogram For a demonstration of our Autonomous navigation software and control system for unmanned surface vessels. The sea trial took place on the waters off Lundeborg, and the vessel was controlled from our own ROC centre here in Svendborg. Thank you all for the good discussions and for spending time to get more insight in our capacities.

Gik du glip af European Maritime Day? Så har du her chancen for at mærke stemningen fra Svendborg i TV2/Fyns indslag fra havnekajen. I sidste uge rykkede ikke mindre end 1.200 gæster fra hele Europa nemlig ind til konference i det sydfynske. Fælles for dem var, at de er beskæftiget med alle mulige forskellige aspekter af det maritime – fra autonome både og undervandsdroner til havmiljø. 🤖🚢💧 Der er ingen tvivl om, at det er noget, der sætter Svendborg, Fyn og Øerne på landkortet, samtidig med at det var en unik mulighed for de lokale maritime erhverv for at gøre opmærksom på sig selv. 👏🏻 Når så mange maritime eksperter og erhvervsfolk besøger Svendborg, er der nemlig rig mulighed for at skabe nye relationer og forbindelser, der kan føre til eksport for de maritime virksomheder i Svendborg. European Martime Day fik sat en tyk streg under Svendborgs status som maritimt epicenter og oplagt udgangspunkt for en national maritim klynge. ikke mindst takket være BlueTech Centers store charmeoffensiv med en messe, der talte mere end 70 stande. Endelig har Svendborg med en succesfuld afvikling uden tvivl været med til at sætte et positivt danske og fynsk aftryk i bevidstheden hos EU-beslutningstagerne, som har udtrykt stor tilfredshed med værtskabet og de resultater, der kom ud af konferencen. #EMD2024 #EuropeanMaritimeDay

Regnen er stoppet, himlen er næsten blå - og anden dag af EMD er i fuld gang. Indenfor byder programmet på workshops, talks og netværk - mens man udenfor kan blive klogere på forskellige fartøjer. Fx kan man se Svendborg virksomheden Dana Dynamics sejlende drone, der er udviklet til at lave miljøundersøgelser til vands. We are preparing for autonomous naval systems. We are pleased to announce that we have signed an exclusive reseller agreement with DanaDynamics. Their autonomous software has been tested in narrow, shallow, and heavily trafficked waters, making it highly suitable for the territorial waters in the GCC area. This agreement marks our continued efforts in the unmanned world. Having achieved success in designing, developing, and producing UGVs, we are now moving towards the sea. Our USVs will offer capabilities across various domains, from coastal surveillance, over UXO searching to environmental investigations. This week wrap up, searching for UXO. In collaboration with UmagSolution we have performed at live testing combining autonomous operation of a vessel with sensor technology capable of detecting UXO on the seabed. DanaDynamics autonomous navigational system “Skipper” was performing well and was able to keep a steady parallel distance. The search pattern has a line spacing of only 3 meters between each track. Autonomous operation generates a uniform search pattern and increases the probability to cover the search area efficient in a predefined mission.
