A food festival is our kind of festival! ☀ Because food is our thing, we were there from start to finish this weekend in the city of smiles, Aarhus, where the annual Food Festival took place. Two of our brands, Dyrbar and Friland, represented Danish Crown, offering free samples of quality meat while engaging in discussions about the future of food production, meat consumption, animal welfare, and more. Our legs are a bit sore today, but yesterday they were fast! 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♀️💨 200 colleagues from our headquarters in Randers and our factories in Kolding and Herning gathered yesterday in Mindeparken, Aarhus, for a run or walk as part of the DHL event ☀️ Alongside about 15,000 other participants, it was an event filled not only with exercise but also great times and hot dogs 🌭 We are already looking forward to next year 🙌 #danishcrown #dhl #betterfoodbrighterfuture

Since 2007, we’ve experienced positive trends in our strategic approach. Here are some highlights: 💥 90% response rate in the most recent survey, with 80% being blue-collar workers spread across factories and production sites across Europe. 💥 Continuous positive growth in well-being and motivation among hourly workers for four consecutive surveys. 💥 50% reduction in the number of low-scoring managers over the last four surveys. Anders Aakaer Jensen is our new Group CFO With proven experience in both leading transformation under difficult conditions and delivering growth and strong results, Anders Aakaer Jensen is a CFO who performs well in various environments.  “It is a privilege for me to take on a significant role in one of Denmark's largest companies. Both the agricultural sector and Danish Crown are in the midst of substantial changes — changes that are necessary and will be demanding. Peter has worked at Danish Crown for 50 years— And he’s only 66 years old! 💪 In other words, Peter Jørgensen has never worked anywhere else 🤩 Starting at our old abattoir in Sønderborg and now at the Blans abattoir. But why hasn’t he changed jobs? Peter simply answers with a smile: “You certainly don’t stay at the same workplace if it’s a bad place to work” 🤷♂️ For him, it’s the camaraderie and many great colleagues that have made the years fly by. And, of course, the fact that an abattoir offers a diverse working life. Over the years, Peter has actually worked in every butcher role — except one 💪 Last week, Peter’s impressive anniversary was celebrated. In style! 👌 With his wife, he was picked up in a limousine to work and later to dinner with colleagues and close family 🥳 Congratulations on your anniversary, Peter! 😍 #danishcrown #anniversary #thepoweroffood
