We recently received a heartwarming surprise all the way from the United States! 🇺🇸 Professional videographer Caleb Blair was visiting Copenhagen with his wife and had the chance to experience Donkey Republic during his stay. But here’s where it gets even cooler, while testing out a vintage lens for his YouTube channel, Caleb decided to create a spec ad for us, completely on his own! 🎥✨ Why? We just wrapped up 2 days of Strategy Sessions with our Board of Directors, and we’re incredibly proud of what this amazing team has achieved so far! From 2022 to 2024, we’ve grown our revenues from 65M to 135-160M DKK, significantly improved our EBITDA to 15-30M DKK, and strengthened our balance sheet. I love this spec piece I did for Donkey Republic when we were in Copenhagen. 30 seconds of pure visual storytelling (though it's still better with sound on.) Introducing ZABIBU - Our Special Bike with a Purpose 🧡 We’re excited to announce a new chapter in Donkey Republic’s journey of making a positive impact! 😍 Today, September 9th, we’re launching Zabibu, a unique grey bike in Copenhagen that’s more than just a mode of transport - it’s a symbol of resilience, care, and community. Zabibu is named after a brave donkey from Lamu, Kenya, whose story of survival has deeply inspired us. All revenue from rides on Zabibu will go directly to supporting the Silver Star Lamu Donkey Care project, a grassroots initiative dedicated to improving the welfare of donkeys in Lamu. This project, founded by a group of local donkey owners, is transforming lives by providing essential care and support for these hardworking animals.
