DOVISTA achieves 15 new EPDs. 🌍✨ As of now in 2024, we are proud to have secured 15 new EPDs across our brands. SLOVAKTUAL s.r.o., Natre Vinduer AS, EgoKiefer AG, Krone Vinduer A/S and O.H. Industri have each earned their first EPD, while Rationel - vinduer og døre and VELFAC have successfully expanded their EPD portfolios. With our EPDs, we provide our customers with transparent, verified data on the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire lifecycle – from raw material extraction to disposal. By identifying areas for improvement and taking concrete actions to reduce the carbon footprint of our windows and doors, we enable our customers to make informed, responsible decisions that align with their sustainability priorities. 🌱 The accomplishment emphasises our continued dedication to sustainability and transparency, and we are committed to keep driving the industry forward. 📈💪

No Child should grow up alone! Those were the words on stage at Danish Industry yesterday during the Ukraine Investment Forum. Therefore, DOVISTA is proud to be a part of a coalition of partners to build low-carbon housing for children without parental care in Ukraine. Our CEO Allan Lindhard Jørgensen explains why we are a committed contributor the project. "If we can add some daylight in the darkest of times and assist in creating safe places for children in need in Ukraine, then there is no discussion, of course we provide the support. Today we launch our DOVISTA Sustainability Report 2023. The report is a crucial element in ensuring transparency regarding DOVISTA's sustainability targets, actions, and accomplishments. Sustainability is a part of our DNA. This means creating impact that matters. Guided by our ESG commitment we have already made solid progress. This year has marked a significant milestone in our dedication to climate action, as DOVISTA became the first European facade window and door company of its size and magnitude to have 2030 Science-Based Targets validated. DOVISTA has committed to: 42% reduction in CO2 emissions from our own operations (Scope 1 & 2) and 25% from value chain (Scope 3) by 2030. By having our targets approved, we commit to measuring, managing and most importantly taking actions to reduce our CO2 emissions. And our progress is already tangible. 2023 CO2 emissions relative to 2022: ✔ 16% reduction in absolute Scope 1 & 2 emissions ✔ 16% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions   Other highlights from the report include our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) where we have now reached a coverage corresponding to one third of our products sold.
