Live from MIPIM 2025! 🎙 The energy is buzzing here at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes as we immerse in inspiring discussions about the future of real estate. One of our key highlights? An exclusive event at Rado Beach Helen on the Boulevard de la Croisette! With opening remarks, our Board member Marc Schömbs and Stefanie Lütteke, Associate Partner, set the tone for our soirée and fostered authentic dialogue with industry pioneers about the evolving real estate landscape and long-term solutions for sustainable growth. 🔍 Compelling takeaways from our insightful keynote by Roland Hunziker, Director, Built Environment at WBCSD and Co-chair of GlobalABC: The goal: ✅a livable, resilient, and decarbonized built environment: The property sector has a critical role to play in achieving climate goals and collaboration is key. ✅ ESG under pressure – but still a priority: Our discussions with industry leaders show that many companies and individuals remain committed. ✅ The built environment made it to the Climate Conference (COP): 40% of emissions come from the built environment, so the creation of a dedicated Built Environment Day at COP was a huge success. What needs to be done? The message was clear: we need to develop a common methodology for carbon assessment, integrate carbon considerations into decision-making processes and, above all, strengthen collaboration between industry leaders and policy makers. Despite the stormy weather, the discussions were nothing short of electrifying! ⚡ We are looking forward to the rest of our dynamic time at MIPIM and to many more thought-provoking talks and discussions.

Another exciting year is coming to an end. Time to look back at what we have achieved together – and look ahead to the challenges that 2025 has in store for us. But that was just the beginning. In 2025, we must not let ourselves be held back by bureaucracy, technical hurdles, or global uncertainties, but rather tackle them courageously and act decisively.
