Frese and HIRO confirm cooperation! At GeoTHERM 2025 in Offenburg, the teams from Frese and HIRO Europe jointly showcased the seamless integration of innovative, energy-saving dynamic flow control valves with complex, scalable geothermal systems—highlighting their long-standing and constructive collaboration. For more than 30 years, Frese have been developing valves and control components, establishing ourselves as a market leader in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning applications worldwide. HIRO specialises in the development and production of high-quality geothermal manifolds and distribution chambers, drawing on extensive application expertise and working closely with drilling companies and engineering firms. Particularly in medium and large-scale geothermal projects, where the return on investment is positively impacted by the efficient interaction of all components, both companies stand out with their engineering excellence, manufacturing precision, and hands-on expertise. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝘀 & 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 – 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 Project Pickford is a full office refurbishment for the regional HQ of Lloyds Bank in the centre of Birmingham. This was the first order for Frese UK from the Birmingham division of national M&E contractor, Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services. The order was for circa 840 nos. MODULA Direct Series valve sets with integrated Optima Compact PICVs. The order was placed in June 2024, with monthly deliveries scheduled until February 2025. However, due to last minute site access issues over the festive period, the complete order had to be delivered to the FCU manufacturer by the end of September. Our office, warehouse and assembly team went above and beyond to fulfil this request and managed to get everything delivered by mid-September.
