📣 You may have heard the news: we launched a new update to our due diligence. 📣 Before we can give ourselves a pat on the back for a job well one, our impact team is working to reassess all projects on the new 2024 criteria. This, of course, means we had to first share this news with our network of projects as well. And, sure, not everyone was as excited as we were. Bottom line: without each of the great carbon removal suppliers we work with, we would not be able to continue to raise the bar for integrity and quality in the market. We're so glad to bring them along in this process to lead the industry in terms of our stringent project analysis. We are so excited to announce a new supplier BIOSORRA alongside their first delivery of 97 tonnes of high-quality biochar. Biosorra is integrating agricultural know-how with the vision to restore soil fertility and carbon balance among farming communities in Kenya. Their mission is to transform otherwise unused crop waste into crop yields through biochar application to farmers’ fields, thereby removing carbon and benefitting soil.
