At LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, we are proud to announce the annual results for 2023, celebrating a record turnover of DKK 319.3 million and a 30% growth in EBITDA. In 2023, we continued to deliver on our ambitious mission to make the world love liquorice by opening 7 new LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW stores. Germany surpassed Denmark and became our largest market making up 33% of total sales. We also saw strong sales growth of 39% in the UK, including the opening of our first retail store in London, followed by two additional UK units. We are pleased to publish the 2023 annual results of LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW. - We once again managed to grow topline to a new record - We invested in the future by opening more retail stores than ever - We made Germany our biggest market - We established ourselves in the UK with 3 retail stores and a reseller network roll-out including John Lewis & Partners and Selfridges - We increased EBITDA by 30% despite soaring cocoa prices and tough consumer sentiment - We managed to lift brand awareness and brand preference across all our markets - Our community now counts more than 600’000 liquorice enthusiasts 2024 has begun significantly stronger than 2023 - a testament to the power of the brand created by Johan Bülow and the strength of our unique channel strategy.
