We are pleased to announce the arrival of 10 new Weibel colleagues to our team. All of our new colleagues participate in a two-days "Welcome to Weibel" introduction days, were they are presented to the exciting history of Weibel, gain insights into our diverse range of products, learn about radar operations, and receive introductions to our various departments within the company. The two-days introduction course concludes with a tour of our production facilities and an exciting visit to our Weibel Test Center (WTC). A warm welcome to everyone.

We are pleased to announce that Weibel has been selected by the US Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space to develop a prototype of a new AESA C-Band range instrumentation radar for US Army's test ranges. We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract under the Range Radar Replacement Program. We will be leveraging our 40+ years of expertise with instrumentation hardware architecture, X-band real-time processing and post-processing software and hardware platform to ensure the success of the new radar capability being developed.   Frode Scott Nilsen CEO of Weibel says: "Having a C-Band frequency will be a tremendous complement to our global X-Band radar product line. It will allow test ranges to deliver Weibel TSPI data quality to their customers. Weibel’s C-Band instrumentation radar will support legacy C-Band transponder tracking and a large Field of View. A C-band radar capability will also provide additional microwave spectrum to those test ranges that are experiencing civilian or military frequency band constraints due to saturation from other radars".

Land Forces 2024 is the biggest defense show in Australia and has previously attracted more than 20,000 attendees, 810 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 150 defense, government, industry and scientific delegations from 30 nations.   This year Weibel is joining the event as exhibitor, and we are located at stand # E230, where we will showcase our wide portfolio of radar solution for defense and security measures, including our latest Counter-UAS and SHORAD solution XENTA, as well as Instrumentation, SL and Muzzle Velocity Radars.   Should you be attending the show, please remember to visit our stand to have a talk with our two sales representatives Jorgen Andersen and Eduardo Elías de Molíns Pinillos. Today, on Flag Day, we honor our Danish soldiers and first responders who have made invaluable contributions in international missions, and we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for Denmark. Their courage and dedication are an inspiration to us all.   At Weibel Scientific, we are deeply committed to supporting our veterans. Over the years, we have worked closely with many former service members, and we are proud of our own veteran program, which helps wounded soldiers reintegrate into the workforce and find purpose in their daily lives.   Jacob Panton, a veteran and employee at Weibel, is an example of this commitment. Through collaboration with Weibel’s owner, Thomas Oeiseth Munkholm, Jacob has been involved in several projects, including founding Veteranskytterne - Danish Wounded Warriors, and the company Veterankompagniet. Through his work at Weibel, Jacob has found a new opportunity to regain both his professional and personal strength.   “Today, I stand strong, not only because of my own journey but also thanks to Weibel’s support and dedication. I am forever grateful for the opportunity I have been given at Weibel, which has helped me and many other veterans find our way back to life,” says Jacob Panton.   Weibel remains a strong supporter of veterans and is grateful to all the soldiers who have sacrificed so much for Denmark. Proudly Supporting Our Wounded Warriors for Over a Decade   At Weibel Scientific, we have had the honor of supporting the Danish Wounded Warrior association, Veteranskytterne, for the past 10 years. Founded by Jacob Panton, a wounded soldier himself, Veteranskytterne - Danish Wounded Warriors is dedicated to assisting wounded soldiers in Denmark and from allied nations.   To mark their 10th anniversary, the association organized Warrior Week Denmark, a week filled with events for more than 50 wounded soldiers from the USA, UK, Ukraine, France, Germany, Latvia, and Poland. We were privileged to host these dedicated veterans last Friday for a special tour at Weibel.   Weibel Scientific is proud to have been part of this journey from the very beginning. Our commitment to supporting wounded soldiers, both in Denmark and from our allied nations, remains steadfast. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to these soldiers for their sacrifices and to our allies for their cooperation in ensuring our collective security.   During the visit, the veterans showed remarkable dedication and curiosity, asking insightful questions throughout the tour. The day began with a presentation from our former CEO Peder Richardt Pedersen, accompanied by coffee and Danish pastries. Peder then led a tour of our production facilities, where Weibel employees engaged with the veterans and answered their thoughtful inquiries. Exciting Day at DALO Industry Days! We had the honor of welcoming our Danish Minister for Business, Morten Bødskov to the Weibel Scientific stand. Our former CEO Peder Richardt Pedersen and Jacob Panton had a fruitful discussion with the Minister about the critical role Denmark plays in advancing research and development in the defense industry. Peder emphasized the importance of our nation's commitment to fostering innovation in technological solutions. We also discussed the social responsibility initiatives at Weibel, including our partnership with Veterans' Coffee Company, a coffee business owned by wounded soldiers. All profits from the company go towards supporting injured veterans. Minister Bødskov took a coffee sample with him and has already placed an order for the ministry—yes, it was coffee, not a radar!
