Xtellio has been nominated as a finalist for the 2024 IoT Award by Nordic IoT Centre🥳.   This year, it’s our "𝐉𝐨𝐛-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" solution that has captured the judges' attention.   The solution directly tackles the challenges currently facing the construction industry, including the need to reduce CO2 footprints and provide data for ESG reporting. Job-site trailers are known for their high energy consumption, and this solution not only monitors energy usage but also helps reduce it.   The "𝐉𝐨𝐛-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠" solution consists of a wireless gateway and several sensor devices that provide real-time data from the trailer.   One notable device is a newly developed component that sends a shut-off command to the heat pump in the trailer if sensors detect that windows or doors have been left open. The device can also remotely power down the system during weekends and holidays when the job-site trailer isn’t in use. Another innovative new device is installed on the electrical panel to collect and transmit energy consumption data.   The data collected can be delivered via API integration into customers' own systems, making it easily accessible. We are confident this will be a valuable tool in energy consumption reporting and in efforts to reduce overall usage.   The winner will be announced at the Digitalization Fair at the Odense Congress Center on September 25, 2024.
