🚀 The launch of the MARI balancing platform has transformed the Estonian mFRR market, and the numbers from just the first few days are already fascinating to see. Let me break it down: 📊 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈: This year’s peak in mFRR trading activity occurred in June, setting a solid benchmark for the market. 📊 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈: In just 3 days since going live, we’ve already achieved 32% of that benchmark in less than a week! 🤔 If we keep up the current pace, our trading activity 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 by the end of December. Even with some adjustments to the estimate, this is still an incredible tempo. 🔄 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Out of the 288 15-minute trading periods over these 3 days, we’ve had 176 activations (both up and down). This means 61% of our bids have been activated—a high activity level in such a short time. These early results are a great indicator of how MARI is ramping up and reshaping the market.
