🚁 Defence tech startup DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has secured an #exclusive contract with KrattWorks to produce and distribute the Estonia-based company's #defence drone products in India under the 'Make in India' initiative. This #collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing local capabilities for advanced drone technology. Krattworks is known for its cutting-edge drone #solutions, including jamming-resistant intelligence, #surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) drones, which are equipped with both day and night vision capabilities. Additionally, they manufacture fixed-wing aerial target drones with a heavy payload #capacity and radar reflectors, further diversifying the defence offerings. 🌍 With the new contract, DroneAcharya aims to bolster its existing fleet, which already includes first-person-view #drones utilized by the Indian Army for surveillance, pilot training, and specialized defence missions. The addition of Krattworks' drones will #empower DroneAcharya to provide even more advanced technology to Indian defence forces. The anti-jamming #capabilities of these drones are particularly noteworthy, as they could serve as invaluable assets in high-threat #environments and electronically contested zones, enhancing operational effectiveness for critical defence applications like ISR missions and border #patrolling. 📈 Founded in 2017 by Prateek Srivastava , DroneAcharya has witnessed #remarkable growth, with a 90% increase in #operating revenue in the financial year ending March 2024. The company is on a trajectory for 200% growth in revenue, EBITDA, and profit after tax by FY25, while also aiming for a fourfold increase in DGCA-certified drone #pilot training centres. Following the #announcement of the Krattworks #partnership, shares of DroneAcharya surged by 7%, reflecting investor confidence in the company's strategic direction and potential for #future growth. uncrewed solutions for public safety, defense and all efforts to preserve life, "Temple Grandin of Drones"
Coming out of the North Dakota UAS Council event with GrandSKY I'm looking forward to catching up with some of my favorite #EU producers of #NDAA compliant sUAS. NEXT WEEK! In #WashingtonDC COME TO Association of the United States Army - AUSA and meet the CEO OF KrattWorks Tõnis Voitka Nothing motivates innovation in the defense space like having bad neighbors and #Estonia has the worst (#russiaisaterroriststate). Can't wait to catch up with everybody and if you buy me a drink maybe I'll tell you the story of how I randomly met Tonis at a Brazilian steakhouse in #Kyiv 🥩
"We are aiming to raise €5 million in our upcoming Series A round," announces KrattWorks CEO Tõnis Voitka, sharing insights into the company's future plans and how our technology stands out compared to consumer drones. "Investor interest has shifted as awareness grows, with increasing focus on dual-use technologies.” Note: The interview was conducted in Estonian. “Plaanime A-roundis kaasata kuni 5 miljonit eurot!” avaldab tegevjuht Tõnis Voitka, rääkides intervjuus tulevikuplaanidest ja KrattWorksi tehnoloogia eelistest laiatarbedroonide ees. “Ühes teadlikkuse kasvuga on muutunud ka investorite suhtumine: aina rohkem vaadatakse kahese kasutusega tehnoloogiate poole.” #fundraising #technology #startup #estonia #defenceindustry https://lnkd.in/d5_fCf2C

Today’s throwback post is inspired by Elmo's success in remotely controlling a car in Finland from an operator based in Croatia. In the early 2022 world was a different place and KrattWorks' main focus was combatting wildfires. To showcase the power of our technology - which enables operators to remotely control and seamlessly hand over control of drones across the globe - we launched an intercontinental drone operation. In this demo, an operator in California controlled a wildfire-mapping drone in Estonia in real-time using a 4G mobile network. Today, we’re excited to see this versatile technology finding its way into everyday use - not only making life more convenient, but also saving lives and protecting nature. Kudos to the teams involved for their fantastic work! 👏 #innovation #remotetechnology #startup #estonia
