I landed my current role at the end of 2019 when my good friend Priit introduced me to headhunting, something he had already been doing for nearly two years. Since I’ve always loved sales and connecting with great people, I decided to give it a shot—and I was positively surprised by how much I enjoyed it. We recommended to wait until the employer brings up the topic. If they don't, it’s appropriate to ask about salary after you have a clear understanding of the job responsibilities. 2️⃣ Your salary expectations should be … … the combination of industry average salaries and evaluation of your experience and skills. Also, consider the company size and location, as these impact salary offers. 3️⃣ Should you always negotiate? If the offered salary aligns with your expectations and the job provides other valuable benefits, like flexibility, career growth opportunities, etc., negotiation may not be necessary.
