Last week, YOOK had the pleasure of exploring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and uncovering its treasure trove of opportunities. Slowly but surely, the market's unique habits and vast potential came into focus. Here are some of the key takeaways from our whirlwind week: 📢 KSA is evolving at lightning speed, offering a goldmine of opportunities—but also some serious challenges. The competition on those supermarket shelves? It’s next-level fierce. 🥇 The winning formula? The right partner, a well-thought-out strategy, a smart investment policy, and—above all—sheer persistence. Trust me, without these, you're toast. ⚡Even though we only had one week on the ground, it was one of the most eye-opening trade missions I’ve ever been part of. With the support of fantastic partners, we were able to fast-track our learning and dodge some common missteps as we prepare for the next phase. ⛑ So, what’s next? An excellent example of popularizing science is the TV-show “Rakett 69” which demonstraes how science can be cool and engaging. Another issue is the outdated perception of the industrial sector, where factories are seen as dark and the work as routine-based. In reality, modern factories are advanced, automated, and digitalized, and they need to be managed by bright, smart, and young minds! The industry needs programmers, engineers, automation specialists, electrical experts, and more.
