Occasionally, batches fall short of our strict quality control standards or reach their expiration, leaving us with unused bottles destined for recycling. Rather than let them go to waste, we sought a more meaningful solution. Inspired by our love of modern art, we approached internationally renowned Estonian glass artist @Tiina Sarapu. She transformed hundreds of our Orion 100ml bottles into stunning sculptures, giving new life to what would have been discarded. While we’re not making a grand gesture, we are making a statement: Upcycling beats recycling, and turning used Miron VioletGlass bottles into beautiful art is a step toward something better. This month has been a very busy one! Premium #certifiedorganic #functionalmushroom extracts are in demand, especially #lionsmane #cordyceps #chaga and #reishi. 1. We visited the Nordic Organic Food Fair and connected with exisiting clients who were exhbiting there, found a new supplier/partner and several potential clients. 2. I spoke on the panel of the NutraIngredients #ActiveNutritionSummit - sharing our knowledge and insights about the trends in the mushroom extract segment based on data from supplying about 50 brands across Europe (and the UK). Thanks to Olivia Haslam for moderating and to my co-panelists Dr Miguel Toribio-Mateas CBiol & Ed Tooley for providing me and the whole audience with some great insights too! Heads up also due to Charlotte Jefford for all the prep work. 3. We launched 3 new products in the past month: #chagacapsules, #reishicapsules and a #mushroomcocoa fortified with magnesium. 4. We wrote an article about the opportunities for #cbd companies in Europe and the UK to extend their portofolios and identify synergies between the benefits and perceptions of CBD and Mushroom extracts. About one week ago I attended the annual Estonian Foreign Ministry Export Club event (for the third year running I might add). In previous years we were not really ready to have serious discussions or make concrete requsts to the Estonian Ambassadors abroad. But this past 12 months has seen a huge amount of growth and we are now exporting to over 20 countries with export being about 90% of our revenue. So...watch this space, we have a plan to boost exports further in 2025, especially in 2 or 3 key markets where our research shows high future demand at both consumer and business levels. Special thanks to the Ministry for inviting me again and to the three ambassadors who showed keen interest in our idea. I won't name them as our target markets for 2025 are a bit of a secret... shhh! but they know who they are :)
