Today’s session was given by ALEXBANK’s very own Head of Mass Segment, Mohab Mostafa – where interns got a knowledge-infused session on Youth Financial Activities and the Products and Services of ALEXBANK. Interns were introduced to the tactics of becoming financially aware, capable, and empowered on the fourth day of LEAP. Questions that include where, how, and when to insert money within banks and the types of products that most adequately cater to customer’s variable needs were fully answered. We also know the types of retail, insurance and youth products. Alongside knowing the different types of cards, insurance products and loans. During today’s session, our interns discovered what banks have to offer, the difference between flexible versus inflexible accounts and everything we need to know about certifications of deposits. This was in addition to knowing how interest rates, recession, the market situation, and the value of a country’s currency are all interrelated. Apart from knowing a very intricate explanation of both current and saving accounts. ALEXBANK’s interns can now fully differentiate between debit, credit and prepaid cards. Whilst knowing the 3 main types of loan as a product and the best option for each case, our LEAPers have a deep understanding of the difference between secured and unsecured loans. 2024 LEAPers learnt how Instapay was a revelation to the banking services, and how to choose the best bancassurance product and programs for my needs or my family’s. One of the segments discussed was that customers between 16 to 25 can open Youth Accounts without a legal guardian, which is a feature ALEXBANK proudly introduced - hence, generally only customers of legal age can usually open accounts without guardians. ALEXBANK’s zealous learners went through a journey through Youth Proposition, banking benefits, the different types of Youth Accounts and their related benefits in relation to a banking platform, mobile wallets, apps and call center availability. Stay Tuned! #ALEXBANK #LEAP

LEAP 2024’s theme is “Generative AI and the New Gen Legacy “; done in collaboration with ALEXBANK’s main success partner, the Egyptian Banking Institute, the main educational arm of the Central Bank of Egypt. This is addition to trusted providers Skills Bank and Markov. We share the same goals, values and urge to impact future generations through interactive learning, while having a Sign Language Interpreter to spread Diversity and Inclusion and give equal opportunity to all. On the third day of LEAP 2024, we dived into the concept of revolutionizing technology and digitalization, alongside its effect and abundancy and passing through 3 industrial revolutions. LEAPers went through an awakening experience by knowing the conscious side of AI, and the four hidden aspects of AI: ambiguity, uncertainty, volatility, and complexity, while dissecting the resulting drivers, impact and needs of all 4. ALEXBANK’s interns discussed the concept of a digitalized currency as an economic aftermath of using AI, and the human aspect that we can manifest from AI. Apart from the ethical applications of AI, our speakers taught us how to prepare oneself for the future and the key traits to ensure a successful growth through using mindset, skillset, and toolset. Having a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations is crucial nowadays, as well as how you perceive change in terms of mindset, values, principles, practices, and tools – having an agile mindset. ALEXBANK’s enthusiastic learners now know the 3 traits that recruiters look for while hiring: KSA, which is knowledge, skillsets and most importantly attitude; combining all three to reach peak performance. This is in addition to the adoption matrix, how AI supports continuous learning, how to identify a learning goal using the SMART technique that is AI driven and the ability to work breakdown structure of big tasks to smaller manageable tasks. #LEAP #ALEXBANK

Today was the second day of LEAP, where the highlight of the day was presence of our very own Ramy Taha, ALEXBANK’s Deputy CEO, Retail, MSMEs & Digital Banking. LEAPERs learned about Ramy’s career since its very beginning till becoming ALEXBANK’s deputy CEO. We also learnt the difference between what technology currently allows us to do versus what can still be done. In addition to understanding consumer and commercial banking. Ramy dived into how opportunities are being shaped due to the availability of AI and technology, modernizing retail banking with the aid of AI, as well as the role of AI within the next 4 years. Ramy questioned LEAPERs knowledge on the difference between AI and Generative AI where they all answered correctly. AI being the bigger umbrella with the latter having the ability to generate original content. They also got to know how the retail banking industry is slowly shifting to self-servicing – being assisted by AI; this is in comparison to the current state of affairs, whereas in ALEXBANK we sell almost everything online via a self-servicing channel. AI can revolutionize cross-selling in retail banking by personalizing product recommendations based on individual customer data, increasing sales, and building loyalty. LEAPERS also learnt from Ramy the potential of AI to transform business through hyper contextualized marketing. Tailoring products to each customer. LEAPERS also shared their ideas on how AI can be used in the banking industry where Ramy listened carefully to all the amazing ideas.   Learning is Free for those who want to learn, this was Ramy’s advice to all the interns.  With endless resources online, we all have the power to invest just 30 minutes a day to accumulate 15 hours on a monthly basis of learning. Can you imagine how this can change one’s mindset and perspective! Thanks to Ramy Taha for the professionally empowering session. #LEAP #ALEXBANK
