إمبارح كان يوم المعرض السنوي التاني لمشروعات التخرج لجامعة كوفنتري في مصر. الأيام بتعدي بسرعة والجامعة، اللي كانت مجرد فكرة حالمة في العاصمة الإدارية (اللي برضه البعض كان بيظنها مجرد صحرا بلا حياة)، دلوقتي بتخرج تاني دفعة ليها.
عادة المعرض دا بنعتبره تتويج شغل سنة، بس في الحقيقة هو مؤشر تطور رحلة مليانة تحديات من أول يوم عشان نقدر نبني منظومة تعليمية تفرق فعلاً في منطقتنا. كليات بتقدم محتوى مختلف في طريقة تقديمه وبتخصصات مستحدثة بتواكب العصر الجديد المنفتح على الاستدامة والحلول الخضراء والذكاء الاصطناعي والرؤى الشمولية. خريجين بيقدروا يفكروا ويطوروا ويبتكروا. فاهمين متطلبات السوق بتاع بكرا، مش بس النهاردا. ومش مجرد حافظين كويس اللي حيدلقوه في امتحاناتهم.
اتشرفنا إمبارح بشهادات الاستحسان البالغ والوقت اللي تكرم ضيوفنا الخبراء من أهم وأرقى الشركات والكيانات الهندسية بإعطائه لطلابنا. اتشرفنا كمان بإطراء نقيب المهندسين نفسه م. طارق النبراوي اللي مأخفاش اعجابه بشغل طلابنا من المرحلة الإعدادية لحد التخرج.
شكراً لكل فرد في فريق صغير عدداً، وكبير بمجهوده والقيمة اللي بيقدمها. والشكر موصول من أول أساتذتنا الكبار مروراً بزمايلنا وحتى لحد أصغر طالب لسا بيبتدي رحلته معانا.
Yesterday was the second annual graduation projects' expo for Coventry University in Egypt. Days pass quickly, and the university, which was just a dreamy idea in the Administrative Capital (which some also thought was just a lifeless desert), is now graduating its second cohort.
We usually consider this exhibition to be the culmination of a year’s work, but in reality it is an indicator of the development of a journey full of challenges from day one, in order to build an educational system that truly makes a difference in our region. Our schools offer different content in the way it is presented and with new disciplines, which keep pace with the new era that is open to sustainability, green solutions, artificial intelligence, and holistic visions. Graduates are able to think and develop. As they understand tomorrow's market requirements, and not just current ones.
Yesterday, we were honoured by the testimonies of great appreciation and time given generously to our students by our guests, who are experts from the most important and prestigious engineering companies and entities. We were also honoured by the praise of the head of the Engineers Syndicate himself, Eng. Tarek Elnabrawy, who didn't hide his admiration for the work of our students from the foundation level until graduation.
Thanks to every member of our small in numbers team, yet great in efforts and the value provided. Thanks to everyone, including our seniors, our colleagues, and even the youngest students who are still starting their journey with us.
