🌳 Understanding tree physiology is the way at Ciclica PRIMA to enhance growth and sustainability 🌳 At #CICLICA project, we're diving deep into how #carob trees respond to irrigation by measuring key physiological processes like potential, stomatal conductance, and photosynthesis at critical moments. These insights help us unlock how trees manage water and optimize growth over time. ➡ Soil moisture tells us how water availability impacts the leaves and trunks, helping us understand the tree's response to its environment. ➡Leaf potential provides a clear picture of the tree's water status, showing how it adapts to changes in water availability and environmental conditions. ➡Stomatal conductance and photosynthesis help us connect the dots between water in the soil and the gas exchange in leaves, crucial for healthy growth and productivity.
