October is Italian Heritage Month, and we are celebrating it with Bertolli d’Italia Extra Virgin olive oil known for its unique Italian flair. In her blog, Champagne Living Media LLC, American blogger Zipporah Sandler reflects on growing up in an Italian neighborhood in Rhode Island and shares her go-to Italian staples. “Bertolli was the oil my mom and ALL of my friend’s moms swore by. It was in every kitchen growing up (I can still remember the big gold tins of it), and today I love Bertolli d’Italia Extra Virgin Olive Oil. My Italian cooking routine just got easier - premium-quality extra virgin olive oil sourced from Italy provides Americans with a way to get more Italian olive oil (and all its health benefits) into their meals as they elevate their dishes and cook the Mediterranean way with d’Italia products.” she shares. Thanks for the love Zipporah Sandler! As you say, - Here’s to Italy, to traditions that stand the test of time, and to the simple joys of great food. Buon appetito! #Deoleo #ItalianHeritage

The Financial Times recently published an article outlining the complex context of olive farming, including the rising challenges of climate change, evolving market demands, and the need for innovation. These issues make traditional olive farming cultivation increasingly difficult for smallholders. As a company that works with both big and small farmers, Deoleo introduced The Sustainability Protocol in 2018, responding to the growing need for sustainable agriculture practices, to ensure the industry's long-term viability. The protocol has led to improved crop yield, higher quality olive oil, and consequently better income for farmers. This initiative adds value across the entire value chain, raising the bar for the sector despite ongoing challenges. Read more about the future of olive farming in this in-depth article where our President Ignacio Silva shared his views. #Deoleo #CaringForWhatCaresForYou #FinancialTimes

At Deoleo, supporting our origins and rural communities is a top priority. We maintain long-term agreements with our key suppliers and are in continuous contact with the fields, where we have seen firsthand that the olive groves are in very good condition. We estimate that this year’s harvest will be around 50% higher than last year’s. We would like to extend our gratitude to the management team at Almazaras de la Subbética. At Deoleo, we support traditional olive farming and are committed to enhancing the value of olive oil. Our partnership with S.C.A. ALMAZARAS DE LA SUBBETICA, one of our pioneering oil suppliers in sustainability protocols, is a testament to this shared commitment to quality and sustainability. We are honored to grow together with our suppliers, each contributing what we do best based precisely on these values. Here’s to a future where quality and sustainability lead the way, and where our shared passion for excellence continues to thrive! #Deoleo #Sustainability #Quality #TraditionalOliveFarming #AlmazarasDeLaSubbetica.

Present, future, sustainability, and leadership. Córdoba has become the epicenter of the first edition of the congress “Growing Together: The Role of Women in the Future of the Olive Oil Sector.” This pioneering forum brought together the leading female voices in the olive oil industry to address the challenges and opportunities facing the entire value chain. Yesterday we gathered at the beautiful Palacio de Orive in Cordoba, Spain for the first edition of Growing Together. This forum brought together some of the most influential female voices. From cultivation to innovation, from rural sustainability to internationalization, women are driving the future of olive oil. "They are the soul of our sector, keeping traditions alive, managing the land, and ensuring the sustainability of our resources," as Victor Roig eloquently put it. We are proud to support and promote the incredible contributions of women in this industry. A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible speakers and participants who made this event possible.
