Great day visiting the Sheffield United training ground. Thanks to Alex Delves, who we are very grateful to for taking the time to meet us and chat about football and data. Seeing first hand their recruitment process and the hard work all the team do, we can see why the club have brought in so many talented players. Best of luck this season from all the Driblab team!

One of the most popular and interesting ways to measure the strength of schedule of a team in a competition is the ELO ranking system. In Driblab we have our own ranking, extracted from all our models and metrics. Among others, we count Goals, Expected Goals, Expected Threat, Market Value, the team’s ELO before the match, or the ‘Home Field Advantage,’ which measures how much of an advantage playing at home provides depending on the league. In the image, the strength of schedule of the 36 teams that will play in the Champions League 2024-25.
