Where does OPENLY stand? At this moment, we have 63 units from five projects in the execution planning phase with property and project developers. Additionally, there are another 357 units in the pipeline. We have successfully completed initial consultancy mandates. www.openly.systems/en/ Our Openly/Lab training series has sold out for the fourth consecutive time, with particularly high interest from German property developers. In Switzerland, we are starting to see initial demand from funds and pension funds eager to minimize CO2 emissions during construction and renovation. While we have made significant progress, we are still operating within a limited scope. What we need is increased regulatory pressure, similar to the measures planned in Denmark, which will set a limit of 6 kg of CO2 per square meter of gross floor area by 2029. Additionally, financial incentives to encourage the use of biogenic building materials are currently lacking. This year, through CO2 certificates (removals), we anticipate promoting approximately 10,000 tons of CO2, equivalent to around 25,000 square meters of gross floor area, at a cost of just 1-2% of construction expenses. Our goals are ambitious, yet we have deliberately avoided pursuing venture capital, and we plan to maintain this stance. The interests of these funding sources often conflict with our mission. However, intelligent capital could significantly enhance our scaling efforts, leading to tremendous impact.
