Jolt Solutions is the largest spinoff of ICIQ, a prestigious global research institute ranked amongst the world’s top five, and one of the few focused on catalysis, electrolysis and Solar to X. Our pioneering PhD team of chemists, material scientists and physicists are supported by leading Climate funds and public bodies. Our process is moving from lab to fab at speed – we have scaled from TLR 3 to TLR9 in only 2 years, with our first clean 4 GW factory already operating and supplying customers from April 2024.

Thank you for highlighting the great work going in Spain and focussing on Catalonia's role.
🇪🇺 Catalonia: Strong H2 Hub in Europe and Spain 🇪🇸 💡 What an enlightening visit in Barcelona, capital of Catalonia⁉️ 🙏 Thanks to Oriol Alcoba Malaspina (director general for industry) and Albert Castellanos Maduell (secretary for business and competitiveness) at the ministry of business and labour in the government of Catalonia giving me an insight into the capacities of this leading European region in #Hydrogen. ⚓️ Barcelona is the 10th biggest #port in Europe and will contribute with the port of Tarragona to the integrated logistical distribution of hydrogen and its derivatives. 💪 Meeting many players of the Hydrogen community in the venue of the port authority was impressive and showed the strength of Catalonia being the leading region in making Spain one of the major Hydrogen factors in Europe. 😃 The large presence of intensive industry in the use of hydrogen, especially chemicals and the presence of research centres and universities makes this place very strong. ✅ The political firm commitment to #climate #neutrality will be the key to create and develop applied technologies along the value chain. 💉 The upcoming major European H2 pipeline H2MED goes through this port and needs to be also connected with the port of Tarragona. By this hydrogen can be injected efficiently into the European backbone. 2️⃣0️⃣ strong opportunities in concrete Hydrogen projects, very promising‼️
