As the world leaders in expansion joints for Waste-to-Energy (WtE) and Biomass-to-Energy (BtE) applications, we have successfully designed, manufactured, and shipped a series of large-size universal tied expansion joints for a major Waste-to-Energy plant in the UK. This first shipment consists of high-tech expansion joints with the following features: size 4800 mm, length 3000 mm and 3600 mm, design pressure of 0.5 barg/FV, and a design temperature of 150°C. This achievement highlights our leadership and expertise in delivering cutting-edge solutions for critical energy projects, where reliability and performance are essential.   Energy from Waste facility which is currently under construction at the Lostock Works site near Northwich in Cheshire. We have successfully manufactured and delivered a set of high-tech FCC Expansion Joints to a leading European refinery. As the world leader in critical applications, including FCC units at refineries, MACOGA continues to set the standard where reliability and performance under the most demanding conditions are paramount. This achievement underscores our commitment to delivering superior solutions for complex industrial environments worldwide.   One of these units incorporates a floating ring, an advanced design and construction system. The improved floating ring design structure reduces stresses and significantly lowers costs, ensuring optimal performance and durability. The floating ring is engineered to absorb the pressure thrust load as well as any external loads. This design accommodates the differing thermal expansions between the line pipe, which may operate at the full media temperature, and the floating ring.   This allows, in many instances, the use of carbon steel for the floating ring, even at very high temperatures. Carbon steel remains a viable option due to the reduced operating temperature of the floating ring. MACOGA is the global leader in design and manufacturing of Expansion Joints for Power Generating Plants.   On this occasion we have successfully manufactured and shipped of a significant number of HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) Expansion Joints for a major power plant in the Dominican Republic.   Each of the gas turbine exhaust gas trains will be equipped with two of our high-performance expansion joints. The bellows are designed for critical installation towards the exhaust gas diverter damper outlet flanges. Specifically, one ubnit will be connected to the HRSG outlet, while the other expansion joint will serve the Bypass outlet. These expansion joints play a vital role in the efficient operation of the exhaust gas system, ensuring reliability and flexibility under challenging conditions.   This successful delivery is yet another demonstration of MACOGA’s commitment to providing tailored solutions for complex industrial applications, supporting power generation projects across the globe.
