MANGO es una multinacional de prestigio internacional dedicada al diseño, la fabricación y la comercialización de prendas de vestir y complementos para mujer, hombre y niño/a. La firma cuenta con más de 15.000 empleados, 2.200 de los cuales trabajan en el Hangar Design Center y en la sede de Palau-solità i Plegamans (Barcelona). Más allá de las cifras hay un equipo joven y entusiasta con una media de edad entorno a los 29 años y formado en un 79% por mujeres. El Hangar Design Center, el centro de diseño más grande de Europa, cuenta con una superficie de 12.000 m2 que acoge a más de 700 profesionales dedicados a la creación de moda y complementos. En él se encuentran las áreas de diseño, compras y calidad. La sede central ocupa una superficie de 153.000 m2 y alberga una estructura propia que comprende las áreas de Imagen y Publicidad, Gestión Inmobiliaria, Expansión, Control de Producción y Distribución a los puntos de venta, Arquitectura e Interiorismo de las tiendas, así como Logística, Administración y Sistemas de Información. Actualmente, MANGO cuenta con más de 2.200 puntos de venta en 118 países a lo largo del mundo. Las claves de nuestro éxito pueden resumirse en tres puntos: Concepto, Equipo y Sistema Logístico.

    Pioneers since our origins, at Mango we created our website in 1996 and in 2000 launched our e-commerce, ten years before competitors, becoming one of the first fashion companies to start online sales in Europe. At the end of 2023, our online business exceeded 1 billion euros in revenue for the first time and represented 33% of total group revenue, one of the highest online penetration figures in a European fashion company.     We now strengthen the growth of our online business by entering 12 new markets, including Angola, Belize, Brunei, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Honduras, Laos, Mongolia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Togo. With this launch, we are present e in more than 120 markets worldwide.      We also appoint Marlies Hersbach, currently International Retail Director for Mango in France, as the new e-commerce Executive Director to continue to drive online channel and help achieve the objectives set out in its 2024-2026 Strategic Plan. With deep experience in the sector, Hersbach will be responsible for developing, leading and executing our online business strategy, reporting directly to Elena Carasso, Online and Customer Director and member of the Steering Committee.     #Mango #Corporate #Expansion

    The product is the heart of Mango. Our collections and unique value proposition, designed in Barcelona, have been very well received by our customers, driving the growth of our five lines –Woman, Man, Kids, Teen and Home-. During the first six months of the year, Mango Man recorded a strong growth of more than 21% and Mango Kids and Teen grew by more than 11%. Woman remains the driving force of our business achieving its highest revenue in the history of the company in a six-month period and representing 79% of total revenue.       We have reinforced our commitment to quality with the launch of new capsule collections such as the collaboration with Victoria Beckham for our Woman line and with the Italian tailor Boglioli for Mango Man.     We continue with our ambitious expansion plan in the United States with a new store in Atlanta. Specifically in Lenox Square Mall, the premier shopping destination throughout the Southeast.     The new point of sale stocks products from our Woman line exclusively and features the Mediterranean-inspired store concept, New Med, which showcases our brand’s spirit and freshness.     This launch is part of our expansion plan in the United States to reach 40 company-owned stores by 2024 and for the country to become one of our top markets in terms of turnover.     #Mango #Corporate #Expansion

    At Mango, we believe in the value of technology to serve our employees and customers. Therefore, since 2018, we have developed more than fifteen different platforms that apply artificial intelligence at various points in our value chain, such as pricing or personalisation.     We gain capillarity in Spain and consolidate our presence in Madrid with the opening of a flagship store in Plaza España. With a selling surface of 1,500 m² distributed over three floors, the store offers products from the Woman, Man, Kids and Teen lines. The point of sale also incorporates an evolution of our New Med Mediterranean-inspired retail concept with unique elements such as a lounge area facing Plaza España or shop windows connected to the entrance atrium opening the store to the city. In addition, the store is in a BREEAM-certified building and has incorporated local natural stone, display tables made from textile waste and paint that absorbs CO2, among other aspects. We have 18 stores in Madrid amounting to a commercial space of 14,700 m² that house all the brand's lines: Woman, Man, Kids, Teen and Home. At the end of 2023 we had 386 points of sale in Spain, as well as a digital presence through our own ecommerce and third-party platforms. #Mango #Corporate #Expansion

    At a time when the concept of "sustainability" was not yet part of the general discourse, Isak Andic was already reflecting on it. This is how we were pioneers in 2002 in launching our sustainability department. At Mango, we see sustainability as a journey the fashion industry has to make in order to achieve a fairer society and to reduce its environmental and social impact. As a benchmark fashion company with the product and design at the heart of our business, our vision is based on achieving a more sustainable collection, prioritizing materials with a lower environmental impact and incorporating circular design criteria in our products. Our objective is that by 2030 these will predominate in the design of the products and that 100% of the fibers will be of more sustainable origin or recycled.     We move forward with our expansion plan and strengthen our presence in the United Kingdom with a new store in Essex as part of the 20 store openings planned for the country for 2024. Specifically, in Lakeside Shopping Centre.    The new point of sale offers the Woman line exclusively and features the Mediterranean-inspired store concept, New Med, which showcases the brand’s spirit and freshness.     We have been present in the UK since 1999.     We continue with our brand consolidation plan and strengthen our presence in Switzerland with the opening of a new store in Zurich, at Glattzentrum, the country's most popular shopping center. The point of sale has a selling surface of 860m2 and stocks products from the Woman, Man and Kids lines. It also features the retail New Med concept, which aims to reflect the spirit and freshness of our brand.
