Thrilled to have taken the stage at MWC Talent Arena 2025 about how technology, software, and agile methods are revolutionizing rocket engine design. At Pangea Aerospace, we show that propulsion doesn't have to take years. By leveraging specialized expertise and advanced technology, we can create various engines for different missions and offer them to the industry, so companies don't need to build their own from scratch. This is a game changer. Imagine if every online store had to code their own e-commerce platform—it would be costly, exclusive, and time-consuming. That's similar to what's happening in space propulsion today. Making a rough analogy, this was an example we shared yesterday between software geeks and rocket geeks… The future of spaceflight will rely on 'engines as a service,' making space access more affordable, agile, and sustainable with innovative propulsion solutions. MWC's impact is incredible; it's inspiring to see Barcelona leading discussions that shape the future of society, technology, and space exploration. A huge thank you to Mobile World Capital Barcelona for the invitation, and an honor to share the stage with incredible minds like Steve Wozniak Cassie Kozyrkov Lauren Lyons Pedro Duque #MWC25 #SpaceTech #Innovation #RocketScience #EnginesAsAService #TechnologyThatMatters

[French version below] The presence of #women in the aerospace sector remains a challenge that we need to address. While progress has been made, there is still much to do. Recent data shows that women make up around 23% of the workforce in aerospace companies. Our France Country Manager, Marie Laure Gouzy (a remarkable example for women working in the industry), will participate in the "Meet Her in Space" roundtable, which will bring together four inspiring women who are shaping the space industry of today and tomorrow. Aurélie Baker, PhD, Charlène Doucet & Aude Lesty. We highly recommend listening to their stories! The event will take place at Cité de l'espace. Thank you for the invitation, Thomas Charpenet and Simon Leveque. How polluting is a #rocket #engine, and how can we make it more sustainable? We performed a comprehensive life-cycle analysis of the Arcos #aerospike rocket engine and we want to share the key findings to inspire solutions and foster a more sustainable industry. These are the results of the “Eco-conception” project, carried out under a contract with Centre National d'Études Spatiales and in collaboration with Norimat. The goal was to understand the real environmental impact of the #Arcos rocket engine, from manufacturing to end of life, and to identify opportunities to further reduce its environmental footprint. Check out the article to dive deeper into these insights. Together, let’s continue to push the boundaries of innovation for a greener space future! ⬇️

What does #Europe need to achieve autonomous launching capabilities and build a #sustainable space industry? "We help our customers improve their business case. We develop propulsion systems with the right performance-to-cost ratio, transforming R&D expenses into a variable cost, as our customers pay the engines as they fly—and we don't have a conflict of interest." That was the key message from our CCO, Xavier Llairo, highlighting our contribution to fostering a competitive and autonomous future for the European #space industry. It was a great discussion at the European Space Conference in Brussels, during the panel "Infrastructure, operations, and launchers for agile, sustainable, and competitive launch services." Great exchange of ideas, thanks to Ricardo Conde, Christian Hauglie-Hanssen, Yohann Leroy, Miguel Bello Mora, and Rodolfo Zontini for the engaging conversation! #EuropeanSpaceConf

We are proud to host projects like this in the facilities we have developed in Lleida-Alguaire Airport and contribute to their success! We have collaborated to complete the testing activities of the Poliheat Project, led by AMTEC composites and Compoxi under the European Space Agency - ESA’s Future Launchers Preparatory Programme (#FLPP). The project focuses on advancing reusable thermal protection systems for launchers. This collaboration highlights the strength of #Catalonia's #NewSpace ecosystem and strategy, as well as the crucial role of public-private cooperation and investment, which have enabled the development of this NewSpace test center to advance space technology. Thanks for the support of Generalitat de Catalunya, Aeroports Públics de Catalunya and Institut d'Estudis Espacials de Catalunya - IEEC
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of flame exposure tests for the Poliheat Project, a part of the European Space Agency - ESA’s Future Launchers Preparatory Programme (#FLPP). The tests were conducted at Pangea Aerospace’s facilities in Lleida-Alguaire Airport. The Poliheat Project (Polymeric Materials for High-Temperature Application) is a collaborative effort with our partner Compoxi. It focuses on enhancing the maturity and reusability of the thermal protection systems currently used in the rear parts of launchers. At AMTEC composites, we are leading the testing activities for this project. This includes extensive material characterization at extreme temperatures, shock and vibration testing of a full-scale nozzle extension, and the recently completed flame exposure tests in partnership with Pangea Aerospace. The data gathered during this campaign marks a significant milestone, bringing the Poliheat Project closer to its final goal of advancing spaceflight technology. 🚀 We’re proud to contribute to innovations that shape the future of space exploration. Stay tuned for more updates as we move toward the project’s conclusion!

As we wrap up 2024, we’re proud to celebrate a highly successful year at Pangea Aerospace. As you can see, our team continues to grow and strengthen, achieving milestones that enable us to create the future of space propulsion. 👌 This year’s highlights include significant progress and major milestones in the development of #ARCOS and #UNYX, as well as the birth of #Kronos, our very high-thrust rocket engine for future European launchers. And as if that weren’t enough, we also began working with three commercial clients to provide them with our propulsion solutions. A big thank you to the institutions, partners, and clients who have collaborated with us this year – we look forward to pushing the boundaries of what's possible together. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a fantastic 2025!
