The cybersecurity landscape in the financial sector continues to evolve rapidly, with the emergence of increasingly sophisticated and targeted threats. 2024 sees a significant increase in the activity of banking Trojans, such as Casbaneiro, Grandoreiro, Coyote, and Chavecloak, which employ advanced infiltration and evasion techniques to steal banking credentials and financial data. These malware are mainly spread through phishing campaigns, using emails designed to look legitimate and trick victims.
