On January 15, TUBACEX Innovation hosted the follow-up meeting for the groundbreaking EFISOEC project, led by Repsol and funded by CDTI Innovación - Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación as part of the 2022 Science and Innovation #Missions program. This collaborative effort, with partners like Tecnicas Reunidas, NX Technologies, ZGR Corporación, and leading research centers including IREC - Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya, CNH2 - Spanish National Hydrogen Center, TECNALIA Research & Innovation,CIDETEC, DYPAM UCLM, and IMDEA Energy, is developing Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell (#SOEC) technology. By utilizing residual heat from industrial processes, this innovative solution enhances efficiency and reduces electricity demand, positioning it as a pivotal tool in industrial decarbonization. Developed by the INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE QUALITY GROUP (IAQG), AS/EN9100 certification ensures adherence to strict quality requirements across the design, production, and maintenance processes.
