Euroglas enhances tempering with Glaston Roller Heat Control. The 25-year-old ProE furnace has received a significant upgrade with the Roller Heat Control (RHC). The results? An A+ performance once again! 💎 "Our two goals have been achieved," says Frederik De Knijf. "Earlier, we could only use part of the furnace’s capacity, and we needed to run the furnace for about 16 hours. When we used the complete furnace bed, we had quality issues. Now, we are averaging 12 hours because we’re able to use its full capacity." “Operators, too, have been very excited to use the upgraded tempering line. They no longer need to work magic to get the quality and quantity out of the furnace. Visit from the Chinese Embassy 🌟 🇫🇮 🇨🇳 Yesterday we had the honor of hosting the Counselor and Officers for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy at Glaston's head office in Helsinki and our Tampere technology center. In the morning, Toni Laaksonen showcased Glaston's global footprint, main business lines, and our commitment to technology innovation. Zhan (Jenny) Yang, CFA highlighted our strategic developments in China over recent years. In the afternoon, Petri Huhtelin and Kimmo Kuusela guided our guests through Glaston's operation model and a tour of the Tampere site. 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Finland. Flachglas Wernberg's positive experience with ProL-zone Upgrades! We recently visited Flachglas Group Wernberg, who have just completed their second ProL-zone upgrade to modernize another of their existing laminating line. The latest ProL-zone, equipped with Convection Control and 100 mm max. laminate thickness options perfectly meet their needs for special products. Before our visit, Flachglas shared impressive production data from their earlier installed ProL-zone. The highlight? Energy consumption decreased by almost 90%, from 0.17 kWh/kg to 0.02 kWh/kg of produced laminate! 💡 This translates to significant savings with their annual production of approximately 3 million kg. 💶 During our visit, we conducted initial trials with large double SentryGlas® laminates and tested thick bullet-resistant laminates with asymmetrical composition. These demanding products can now be produced efficiently with ProL-zone/Convection Control, eliminating the need for vacuum bagging. 🛡️ We are thrilled to see Flachglas Wernberg's success and look forward to continuing our partnership in driving innovation and efficiency in the laminating industry! #glaston #glassprocessing #glasslaminating #technology #innovations #energysavings #energyefficiency
