Our latest novelty is the Cross 55 BR, which renews the most popular category of open boats. The new model can be seen by the public for the first time at the Nordic floating boat shows: this week at the Uiva Flytande show in Helsinki and at the Båter i sjøen in Oslo on August 29th in Norway and at the Allt på sjön event in Gustavsberg, north of Stockholm, Sweden on August 30th. The new Cross 55 BR introduces innovative solutions that pave the way for the future of the Cross boat range. Have you ever wondered how our ForCity Smart Artic would look like in your city? After learning that many of the Nordic cities share the same challenges when it comes to making it through more or less 8 -10 months of the worst climate conditions you can imagine for your beloved rolling stock, we dared to help you picture how very smoothly, dare I say perfectly, our Tampere Artic slides through Swedish and Norwegian track, regardless the weather. Of course it's a visualization, but it seeks to support you as a customer and your stakeholders to envision our desired mutual outcome: surving citizens all year round with easily maintainable, highly reliable light rail vehicles that are known specifically for withstanding all of these evil bugbears as snow, ice, deep freeze cycles, humidity, fog, slippery leaves. One of my favourite go-to pitches is always: 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕. ForCity Smart Artic was not designed to stand around in the depot for days to await panel gluing. It will not be towed to maintenance, because a bogie fails.
