  Today, our Helsinki office was filled with young talents!🚀 We had the pleasure of hosting Association of Academic Investors in Turku - KY-Kasino, association from Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku. Refreshing forest trip with colleagues 🍂☀️ Last week, we enjoyed the autumn sun with our colleagues at Nuuksio National Park🌲 Some adventurers recharged on mountain bikes while others were eager to find funnel chanterelles. We savoured soup, campfire-brewed coffee and roasted croissants. Some relaxed in the sauna and took a refreshing dip in the crisp lake. An inspirational day at Wind Finland 🌟   Taaleri Energia was strongly represented at the Wind Finland seminar last week. Taamir Fareed, Senior Adviser for Taaleri Energia, hosted the seminar, and Jenny-Li Holmström, Legal Director & Head of ESG, was one of the key note speakers☀️   Jenny-Li highlighted how sustainability in the wind power industry has evolved from a local to a global focus, and how companies need to consider the whole supply chain. Previously, sustainability efforts in Finland were carried out mainly at wind farms, but now they are also integrated into the core strategies of companies, with boards of directors and executive management teams also implementing sustainability initiatives.   "As companies have a legal obligation to be aware of the impacts throughout their supply chain, the industry must work together to tackle this challenge," Holmström emphasised.   The seminar offered inspiring sessions, insightful discussions with industry experts, and great networking opportunities. What does active asset management mean? 💪 Energy retrofits are an example of how Taaleri creates value and reduces operational costs, while contributing to emission reduction targets in commercial real estate. Taaleri Real Estate has partnered with Enerz® to launch an energy efficiency project. The initiative includes modernising the building automation system and ventilation units to achieve a complete energy upgrade. The 1984-built office complex (Esterinportti 2) is located in Pasila, Helsinki, and is part of a portfolio of commercial properties managed by Taaleri.  The project’s key goals include: ⚡Achieving over 20% annual reduction in heating and electricity consumption  ☁️Improving indoor air quality in office spaces 🌿Reducing the property’s Scope 2 GHG emissions annually by 33,62 tkgCO2. This equals heating the sauna 7,300 times. 🏢Enhancing tenant satisfaction The energy efficiency project is expected to be completed in spring 2025. "This project is a significant step for us in improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions at properties we manage. Electrifying news from Taaleri Energia⚡ Taaleri SolarWind III Fund invests in a 154 MW wind farm in Serbia.   The Čibuk 2 wind farm will consist of 22 Nordex 7.0 MW turbines and will share the same grid connection point as the operating Čibuk 1 wind farm, a Taaleri SolarWind I Fund investment. The wind farm’s annual electricity production will be approximately 330 GWh. It will produce enough green electricity to supply around 62,000 households and will enable approximately 311,200 tonnes of carbon dioxide reductions during each year of operation.   “Our investment in the neighbouring Čibuk 1 wind farm in 2017 has proven to be a success.
