DA-Group supports Team Rynkeby’s journey for children with cancer 🚴♂️💛 Every child deserves the chance to grow, dream, and live a full life. We are proud to support Team Rynkeby Helsinki, a cycling team raising funds for the treatment and research of childhood cancer. Team Rynkeby brings together thousands of participants and sponsors for this important cause. In Finland, the funds raised are directed to Sylva ry and the AAMU Foundation, which support children with cancer and their families. The journey culminates in July when the teams head towards Paris. For DA-Group, it is an honor to be part of this charity project that brings hope and help to seriously ill children. Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of attending the Winter Satellite Workshop🚀, where we took part in inspiring discussions with professionals, innovators, and visionaries. One of the most rewarding experiences was meeting students 🎓, who were genuinely curious about our work. Their enthusiasm was truly heartwarming! ❤️ At the conference, we also had the opportunity to explore the satellites built by Aalto University🛰️. Aalto-1, Finland’s first satellite, made history by orbiting Earth 🌍 for seven years before re-entering the atmosphere last year. It was also the first Finnish space object to be included in the international Register of Objects Launched into Outer Space. Designed and built by students and researchers, Aalto-1 marked the beginning of a new space era in Finland, as noted by Professor Jaan Praks, who led the project. "There is a lot happening in the space sector right now, and the diversity of the conference programme reflected this development. The industry is growing, and the demand for experts is rising. Finland is currently updating its space strategy, which is a significant step for the expanding space business. This will enable new innovations for more sustainable space activities," says Professor Jaan Praks, chairman of the event. A small act can make a big difference - DA-Group involved in doing good 🚴This Christmas, we are proud to support Team Rynkeby, a charity cycling team dedicated to raising funds for the treatment of seriously ill children and cancer research. 🙏In Finland, children's cancer research relies entirely on donations, as it is not funded by society. This makes contributions especially vital. As Team Rynkeby puts it: "Although Finnish cancer research and treatment is world-class, one in seven children with cancer still dies." 🎄Last season, Team Rynkeby Finland raised an impressive €755,329, which was donated to children's cancer research and to supporting affected families.
