⛰ How about that view? ⛰   The Faroe Islands joined Team Rynkeby in 2014 and today they have both a classic team and a mountain team. With its’ more than 83 million inhabitants, Germany is the most populous country in Europe. In spite of this though, Team Rynkeby Germany only has 5 teams – but in 2025 we will expand with a new team in Munich! Team Rynkeby Germany has grown steadily and the new team in Munich shows that even in a large country, every new effort can have a big impact 💛 We look forward to create an even greater unity and support for the Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung. Iceland became part of the Team Rynkeby family in 2017, supporting the two organizations Umhyggja and Styrktarfélagi Krabbameinssjúkra Barna.      Did you know that Iceland is the only place in the world where you can see the continental plates separating above sea level in Tingvellir National Park? Team Rynkeby's roots are firmly planted in the Funen soil. One of the almost 400 islands that Denmark consists of. In 2002, just 11 riders took off on their bikes towards Paris. This year 1,147 riders and service people, divided into 24 teams embarked on Tour de Paris – and that was just from Denmark. A game changer. This is how Bjarne Tingskov Mosegaard describes Børnecancerfonden's (the Danish Children's Cancer Foundation) project, RESPECT. It is a project that ensures that children with cancer can maintain contact with the school, even when they are hospitalized. They get to appoint two classmates as ambassadors for the rest of the class, who visit the sick child in hospital. It helps maintain a daily routine and makes it easier to return to class after the illness. Bjarne is a teacher, and he has experienced having two students with cancer. How the project made a difference for the two, Oliver and Isabella. For their classmates. And for him as a teacher 💛 Bjarne has also been a participant for several years at Team Rynkeby, and in that capacity helps to raise money for RESPECT – and several other projects. One of our finest ambitions with our training is to make it fit for all, so that there is room for all. Everybody out, everybody home is one of our finest principles.
