⭐ New analysis highlights the value of foreign tourism in Greenland ⭐ In recent years, foreign tourism in Greenland has become an increasingly important part of the country’s economy. In the summer of 2023, eight key players in tourism and society came together to produce an in-depth analysis of the economic impact of foreign tourism in Greenland.  Some main results from the analysis show the following:  🔸 In 2023, foreign tourism contributed with revenue to Greenland of almost DDK 1.9 billion. 🔸 Foreign tourism amounted to a gross added value of DKK 1.2 billion, direct taxes of DKK 48 million and duties of DKK 87 billion in 2023. 🔸 Foreign tourism directly accounted for 1,075 jobs.
