Introducing the BYD Qin L DM-i: Redefining Efficiency and Range! The BYD Qin L DM-i has arrived on our Shangai Insights hub. This vehicle has been presented on the market as a shining example of popular hybrid technology: launched in 2024, BYD Qin L ranks already 5th and is the first vehicle to feature the 5th-generation DM-i plug-in hybrid powertrain. As stated by the car maker, this innovation combines a thermal efficiency of 46.06% with fuel consumption as low as 2.9L/100 km, making it one of the most efficient vehicles in production and with combined range of up to 2,100 km (CLTC). Whether on electric or hybrid mode, the vehicle ensures unparalleled distance coverage, helping drivers go further with fewer stops.
