La société #lyonnaise Advanced BioDesign, soutenue par France 2030, est la seule en France à travailler sur un traitement de la #leucémie myéloïde aiguë (LAM). Elle annonce des résultats très encourageants de son candidat #médicament ABD-3001 dans l’essai de phase I/II Odyssey, commencé il y a 15 mois. 🔬 Les résultats préliminaires montrent qu’ABD-3001 a été bien toléré, avec une seule toxicité dose-limitante à 540 mg/m². Les marqueurs biologiques ont démontré une action dès la première dose et un effet sur les leucocytes chez 50 % des patients à 6 et 9 jours après traitement. C'est une grande nouvelle ! La 1ère phase de notre essai clinique de phase I/IIa dans la leucémie aigüe myéloïde se termine et montre déjà de très bons résultats, à la fois en terme d'absence de toxicité et d'effets secondaires, et surtout, de façon préliminaire, en terme d'efficacité et d'effet positif pour les patients ! Nous continuons prochainement l'essai avec la 2ème phase qui consistera en des administrations multiples et permettra d'obtenir de nouvelles données sur la toxicité et l'efficacité.
