As 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the #BICCristal pen, we’re proud to highlight the innovative campaign led by BIC Brazil: "One BIC, One Book, Two Classics." Through this creative initiative, the team asked a simple question: What if William #Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet" were handwritten with a single BIC Cristal? The answer came to life thanks to #AI and a robotic system replicating Shakespeare’s handwriting. Over 20 days, the classic tale was meticulously rewritten, demonstrating the pen’s legendary durability — capable of writing up to 3 kilometers! To mark this celebration, BIC donated the reimagined manuscript to the Real Gabinete Português de Leitura in Rio de Janeiro, a cultural institution deeply rooted in literature and history in Brazil. As Rodrigo Iasi, Marketing Director for BIC Brazil and Argentina put it: "By rewriting this timeless book, we honor both the legacy of writing and the limitless nature of creativity." The 6th annual #ArtMasterAfrica, BIC’s flagship ballpoint pen art competition, has officially concluded! Out of 5,800 submissions, three regional winners and six national winners were awarded prizes. The first-place winner’s art will also be showcased in BIC’s groundbreaking metaverse gallery and added to the global BIC Art Collection. This year’s highlights included: 🖼️ A first-of-its-kind metaverse gallery 📱 Engaging younger audiences through TikTok 🎥 Storytelling videos featuring artists’ creative journeys The theme, #Ubuntu, resonated across all submissions, celebrating connection, harmony, and the power of the iconic BIC ballpoint pen. Winners were celebrated at regional events, bringing together media, influencers, and other partners to honor their creativity.
