🚨 We’re hiring an Office Manager – and we need a doer. Biomemory is building the future of data storage using DNA. It’s bold, it’s deep tech, and it’s going to change the game. But none of it works without strong operations — and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for someone who loves making things run smoothly. Someone who spots the friction before anyone else does. Someone who thrives on solving problems, organizing chaos, and making the office an engine that powers the whole team. You’ll be at the heart of everything: people, operations, logistics, culture. You’ll have ownership, autonomy, and real impact — right in the middle of an ambitious biotech startup with a top-tier team and incredible backers who believe in what we’re building. 📍 Based in Paris, full-time, in a workspace where biologists and computer scientists build the future together. 👀 Check the full role here: 📩 Ready to jump in? Send your CV and a quick note to om@biomemory.odoo.com. Let’s build something that lasts longer than silicon. #OfficeManager #Operations #JoinTheTeam #StartupJobs #DNAStorage #TechForGood #Biotech #GetThingsDone #LifeAtBiomemory

Honored to co-host a dinner of innovators and investors with Senator Vanina PAOLI-GAGIN at the French Senate’s Palais du Luxembourg, on the eve of the French AI Action Summit. We convened cutting-edge AI company VERSES (disclosure: client and the dinner’s sponsor) demonstrating the pioneering approach to AI using “natural intelligence” developed by the world's most cited neuroscientist, Karl Friston. Jacqueline B. Hynes, PhD, a research scientist, described how Verses answers the challenge of Large Language Models (LLM) like OpenAI and DeepSeek of being unreliable, unexplainable, and inefficient. To demonstrate, Hynes showed the Verses model solving 452 games of Mastermind in the time it took OpenAI’s latest model to solve just four, and DeepSeek only one. Jean Schmitt, Managing Partner of Jolt Capital, echoed Hynes on the needs to look beyond the impressive but flawed large language models to prioritize accuracy and transparency—qualities that resonate with companies like BioSerenity, a Jolt portfolio company. Building the world’s largest EEG dataset thanks to their highly sensitive - and stylish - ICECap sensor (See photo), Bioserenity is already operational in hundreds of hospitals. Leveraging AI against their dataset has allowed the company to identify biomarkers from patient brainwaves—a paradigm shift for diagnostics. Imagine the impact of assessing trauma patients in-ambulance or soldiers on the battlefield. While EEGs could assess tens of thousands of French patients each day, there are only a few thousand doctors trained to read them. Leveraging AI analysis, Bioserenity bridges this critical gap. Taking inspiration from a glass of Champagne Drappier served at dinner - Charles de Gaulle’s favorite and produced in the senator’s constituency - Erfane Arwani explained how he could store all the world’s information in a space smaller than a flute of champagne. Using a DNA-based approach to digital storage, Biomemory’s technology will store information in nucleotides to create updateable archives of the explosion of data that will power AI. Ideally used in a GitHub-style library of data, Arwani see local storage as key to the future. Through the dinner’s single shared conversation - a rare achievement at a French dinner, for which I take pride - the senator shared her conviction that Europe can lead the next scientific revolution, which these innovators made seem more likely.
