[Logbook Entry 22/08/2024] Location: Reims & Vatry I Section: enhancing our flexibility with #ModularSpaces solution partner Module3 🏢🛠️🧩   Latitude is collaborating with #Module 3, a company based in Eastern France specializing in modular office solutions and buildings the size of standard #ShippingContainers 🚢🚛 Our history together started with them providing containers for our test Navier #RocketEngine test campaign, which served as workshops #TestBench and storage. They have recently supplied installations for our Titan test site in XCR Airport and continue to provide containers for storage and parts warehouses ✅   This partnership enhances our mobility, allowing us to transport equipment independently of the #Spaceport. We plan to use these mobile containers for #GroundInstallations, commercial reception, and mobile workshops for production teams on various sites, offering unmatched #flexibility ⏩   And finally, Module 3's design office brings significant value by tailoring plans and proposals to meet Latitude's needs 🔁 optimizing visitor paths on-site and adapting to industrial requirements with features like lighting and comfort for the Latitude teams.

Our technical partnership with #Clemessy Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is deepening as they provide our test benches controls systems ✅ 👨💻   Our partnership with Clemessy, a renowned French company with extensive expertise in #ControlSystems for legacy #Launchers, has been pivotal since 2022. Back then, they played a key role in the successful design of the control system for our 1st Navier #RocketEngine test campaign 👨💻🔥 Their continued support ever since has been vital for the ongoing in-house #Turbompump test campaign and the upcoming flight Navier #RocketEngine test campaign slated for later this year. We now have chosen to extend our partnership with them all the way to the integrated tests of our launcher leading to its maiden launch 🚀   We initially integrated a module from their SCADA/Syclone software suite, which seamlessly combines hardware and software ⚙️🔗💻 The success of this integration led us to build our entire line of control systems based on Clemessy's solutions, significantly supporting our growth and upskilling in this field.   Clemessy's value is evident in their approach to delivering COTS products and software, optimized in collaboration with our teams at Latitude for integration into our architecture. These solutions have been validated by CNES at Centre Spatial Guyanais, among others, demonstrating their reliability and ease of use for our development and operational test teams ✅   Their proven solutions are designed to facilitate both development and operational testing for Latitude, ensuring we can continue advancing our Zephyr light launcher dedicated to orbiting #SmallSats 🛰️   #LatitudeLaunches #SpaceTechPioneers

Throwback to testing sheet metal working techniques building the first real-size #Tanks of #Zephyr 🚀 Our teams are developing Zephyr while always keeping #Production requirements in mind to make sure it can be mass produced 🏭🚀🚀🚀 Among many other projects, we have partnered with French industrial companies specializing in aluminium sheet metal work to test different fabrication methods.   Our partners conducted several techniques to transform flat aluminum sheets into cylindrical shapes, soon to be welded as the first real-size LOX and RP1 tanks of #Zephyr. These sheets have been meticulously pre-machined with an #Orthogrid pattern ensuring they are lightweight yet meeting robustness requirements. The first partner conducted trials on a technique known as "press bending" while a second technique called "rolling" was tested in partnership with another industrial company.   The objective for our Structure and Mechanical Systems team is to define which one best meets our stringent requirements for tolerance and repeatability 🦾✅ These efforts are crucial steps toward allowing Latitude to provide high cadence #LaunchSolutions for #SmallSats 🛰️🌐✅   #BeyondBoundaries #PushingTheLimits #SmallSatSolution

969 applications. 68 winners. 13 from France. For the first time since Latitude's beginning, the #EuropeanUnion has funded our company’s present and future. This significant funding comes from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) and its #EICAccelerator, the EU's flagship program for high-risk/high-impact technological projects and one of the continent's most selective programs. We're proud that they recognized our plug & play fully mobile launchpad solution: Smart GPM (Smart Ground Proximity Means) as one of these innovative projects. More than the support, we are humbled by the #EuropeanUnion confidence. It honors the everyday, behind-the-scenes work of our individuals. The work which is far from the ignition of a rocket engine or other easily apparent milestones. It's the job of the one ensuring that each team has the right experts. Whether they're from France, Belgium, Ireland. It's the job of the one simplifying our turbopump, the one lightening our tanks or the one calculating Zephyr's flight trajectories. It's through them that Latitude exists, performs and grows. For them, thank you! Congrats also to the 67 other winners, our 12 other compatriots and especially Apmonia Therapeutics !#LégendR European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) PCN Conseil européen de l'innovation (EIC) Simon Brenet Benkei Gorka Gorazureta --- 969 candidatures.
