This year's winning team hails from Italy, a country renowned not only for its fine wines but also for being an excellent market for Champagne, particularly Champagne AYALA, which is greatly distributed there. A few days ago, we had the pleasure of gathering wine experts for an extraordinary luncheon hosted by Michelin-starred Chef Grégory Garimbay at the renowned Saint James Club Saint James Paris, nestled in the heart of Paris' 16th arrondissement. The setting was idyllic, a true temple of French gastronomy that pays tribute to our willingness to stay connected to the nature with the importance of a demanding raw ingredients selection and simply share those cherished moments together. This special lunch celebrated the end of the 2024 harvest season for Champagne AYALA, as well as the release of two new expressions - two facets - of Blanc de Blancs for the Maison : The first one that is a new edition of the signature cuvée of the House, 100% Chardonnay - AYALA Le Blanc de Blancs A/18 – and, the other one that is an exclusive blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% forgotten grape varieties from Champagne’s region, joining in the latest opus of our Collection - under AYALA Collection N°16, Blanc de Blancs 2016.
